Now is the Summer of our discontent, made glorious by this Netflix split.... Come on people....no bar till now? So I have to drink mimosas? Yeah, we are all tired of this price action, but better days ahead....tell Red your problems, your hopes, your dreams. Car talk is allowed. I want shots posted of the best photos taken on your iPhones! Here is a Seattle sunset

Poured a White Russian last night in a small glass, went down way too smooth. Thinking some red wine for tonight would be splendid, Smithers. Best recent picture I could find: Got myself a new light brown "leather loop" band to augment my black rubber sport band. As others have said, "like having a new watch". The magnetic fastening is cool and the leather is quite comfortable. Only gripe is that the magnets shifting during wear sometimes feels like a Taptic alert. I find myself checking the thing far too often for false alerts, and will need to recalibrate my trigger response again. Anybody using any of the software betas? I know detailed discussions are forbidden, but a general comment would be great!

Do you guys think all the stuff in Greece will have a big impact on apple mon?? Only if negative. I think we have to wait for positive rumors of a blow out ER for any upside.

We are not immune to the rest of the market unfortunately and this just came over the wire: Greek government mulls capital controls and closing banks Monday - Finance minister to BBC

IMO it's equally possible that the ECB will be able to prevent any contagion to the rest of the system. And when there's no contagion from Greeces default, the market could have a relief rally.
The condition of Greece has been the most over-reported story in the financial press in the last 3 years, zerohedge and Kass and the other bears are in a rabid froth. But it feels to me that the story of Greece plays so well because it triggers 2008 Lehman fears... Whether those comparisons are relevant, especially with all the lead up and warning there's been, remains to be seen.

I'm not sure I get all of Jones' assumptions. Last year there was no iPhone 6, which has rocked China...plus Apple has Channel fill advantage this time around. I think 52 million iPhones this quarter is very doable ( or has been done...closed the books least night)

I'm not sure I get all of Jones' assumptions. I agree, which is why I focused on the key bit of info in the article. Nice to see that the CM 4G April slowdown, for whatever reason, was not a leading indicator.
