LStream,
Thank you for the response. We can agree to disagree. We live in a different world... I can understand the benefits of individualism and is hard for you to understand the other side of the world given that you are brought up in an "individualistic", "all out for personal gain" and "what is in it for me" society. Some capitalism is good given human nature but "too" is the problem.
IMHO, the world has changed dramatically since patent laws are introduced, and I'm not joking, I really think patent should be done away with.

And I strongly and vehemently disagree with your characterization of me and and the society I live in. I am proud of the fact that my efforts have employed many people, and that in prior companies that I have shared the upside with my staff who risked nothing. Because I thought it was the right thing to do. I start companies for many reasons. One of which is that I believe that these companies create value for society at large. It is insulting for you to be telling me that I do all of this because I and others like me are just out for ourselves. The benefits that have accrued to me have been quite minor compared to the value I have delivered to others. Its not even close. You are basically insulting all Western entrepreneurs and I don't appreciate it. Not one little bit.

Hope other entrepreneurs are like you. Btw, I thought entrepreneurship is similar everywhere

I like Apple because they innovate cool, life-enriching products, and have made me and my family millionaires (not necessarily in that order ). You would have never heard the name "Apple" outside of your local produce section if it weren't for intellectual property protections. Do you really think Samsung should be able to use Apple's A9 processor and iOS without licensing it? Why would Apple even bother to make those if they couldn't protect them? I'm wondering, how many jobs do you create with your pro-social, altruistic trading, Mace? Of course, as a trader myself I am not criticizing the practice, but then I don't go around criticizing private wealth creation; quite the contrary, I am an enthusiastic evangelist thereof.
