No. 84M sold up to the end of Q3 which was at the end of June. 16M is too much for 4Q since he said two weeks ago.

HD with SSD caching has been coming for a while, will be an industry-wide thing. Haven't hybrid drives already been available for 4 months? It's a cool new technology, but it has been on the market.

Hybrid drives have been around awhile. Seems like Apple wants to take it mainstream. A little "sad" that SSD prices are still as high as they are, but it's an acceptable compromise.
iPad mini - coming up!

Probably so the big boys can keep buying Probably because the iPad number isn't even going to hit the low side of estimates for last quarter.

Hmm...slowing iPad sales? Well, that's new, if so. Gotta do some homework on this.

Phil doing a great job of dancing around that resolution deal.
A5 chip - but also LTE and FaceTime HD camera.
Pretty nice backside camera.
Battery life as expected for lower-power components.
This is very much an iPod mini strategy, with some key improvements.

That was a concern I had that just keeping pace with last qtr was going to be tough. All those estimates of over $10 EPS just went out the window.

I don't believe Apple will be able to give guidance on the iPad mini since it will not be able to be ordered until Friday.

Well, looks like the market really wanted that $29 price. Oh well.
Uhm, that should have been $249 price ;-)

stock getting hit on $329 price but also on concern that the iPads are going to come in at 15ish million for the quarter so people on twitter and stocktwits now saying they are going to miss again on thursday - that's why it drifted right here

I believe it's the $329 starting price that's disappointing. The stock will fall because of that for now. I really wished for $299.

and as an encore - Colin Gilles just sent a note out about the iPad sales in the quarter and that they will be a disappointment versus what is expected....and CNBC just broadcasted it...and we just lost another 6 points
