I see NOTHING to be concerned about medium-to-long-term. Proud of my company here! Proud of ya! Do you need a tissue?

Good news? The higher the scale, the faster Apple drives down the cost curve over time. Oppenheimer: Let me explain it for you all again if you didn't get it the first time. That's some moxie! Like I said, this is where the CEO and CFO make their salaries. I am not listening, but I do like the stance. One thing you can't be is sheepish with the wolves. Tomorrow will be interesting with all the brokerages putting out new guidelines. I am sure we will see some downgrades from buy to outperform, but I doubt we see a "sell" or "underperform". I can't get over that 52 billion revenue guidance number. That has to be close to what WS was expecting.

Key point from TC, "iPhone output has increased significantly in the past month." Others have mentioned this but this seems critically important.

Stupid ass question: why not a bigger iPad? Yeah I believe I'd look a little ridiculous humping a 17-21 inch iPad around to a meeting.

I hear you. I just haven't seen any issue. Apple still can't produce enough product. Who cares if someone is satisfying some demand out there when you can't ramp to supply any more anyhow and when the market is expanding so rapidly? I don't see it as an issue for a couple years when smart phone market growth stagnates. Heh, our arguments are almost converging ;-) I agree, smart phone growth is not going to drop ASAP. But bringing margins down is not something I'd want them to do overnight; I'd expect a gradual process.

Tim Cook on Microsoft Surface: "I suppose you could design a car that flies and floats, but I don't think it would do all of those things very well."

iMessage seems to be having problems too. I can't connect to some people I'm having issues with the whole web. And to make matters worse, Safari crashed twice already (with only 4 tabs open) on my MacBook Pro Retina.

Question I wish I could ask, "Tim what are your plans to cope with the upcoming assault from RIM? A company that historically executes with the precision of a laser".

Note for self: Last year qtr was a 14 week qtr: This is 13 I wonder why they don't simply go to calendar quarters instead? 1-Jan to 31-Mar 1-Apr to 30-Jun etc

Stock turned around rather quickly in AH ... down only $1 now ... something in the CC ? People can do simple multiplication and division. $52 in revenue = Decent Earnings. That would be 12% growth YOY; but hopefully AAPL will beat this by its normal 30-40%, which would jack it up to about 45 to 57% YOY.

Right, RG...I mean to say 52 isn't really 52..so add some frosting and then do the math....

Note for self: Last year qtr was a 14 week qtr: This is 13 I wonder why they don't simply go to calendar quarters instead? 1-Jan to 31-Mar 1-Apr to 30-Jun etc Because that would lead to discrepancies in each quarter. US companies like a consistent quarter ie each US-style quarter has 13 weeks. A calendar quarter is not even.
