Anyone old/young enough to remember this column from Scholastic's "Dynamite" magazine? I loved it! My favorite -- I still remember -- was: a bummer is when someone leaves the Preparation H where the toothpaste was. ;D
So...I thought we could use a place to crib just a tiny bit... Here's mine:
A bummer is when the bestest WTF sale(s) come along, and you're out of bullets.

A bummer is when WS and the media and the jackass late-night talk shows continue to misunderstand/mock Apple.
Actually, that's the norm and it never matters in the end. So...it's a...persistent bummer...that doesn't mean anything so it's not really a bummer after all?
sorry I think you'll have to explain the rules to me again

A bummer that the market makers will have a harder time selling options to retail investors after scaring the shit out of them. You don't punch the guests in the casino.

I'd just like them to at least buy me a drink and treat me to a buffet while they take my money!

Get a players' card and lose enough, and Vegas casinos will do just that.

A bummer is when you bank coin fading Sponge's trades and then he gets the Big One right.

You didn't buy all-in weeklies the day before a day like this.

A bummer is when you can't trust AAPL to go up, and you can't trust anything else to go down...

A bummer is when you bet directional/options, and the market gives you sideways.

A bummer is when the discourse on AFB2 gets so bad that Lovemyipad actually broaches the possibility of stepping down as moderator. I'm taking the "crickets" in today's Intraday as a hopeful sign that the message has gotten through.

I'm taking the "crickets" in today's Intraday as a hopeful sign that the message has gotten through. I hope that this is the correct interpretation - that she has had enough of us. Not something more serious outside of AFB2 and associated shenanigans happening here.
