Nice to see even a small gain after last week's dip. The Earnings Report date estimate of Oct. 25 seemed late, but from what I can find it is pretty typical based on recent years. Perhaps by then Apple will be willing to release some iPhone 7 numbers, even if some of it is just the size of the backlog. Younger son got one today, so I am looking forward to an up close and personal experience with it soon.
Let's make an effort to keep the discussion on the Apple/AAPL track. This is one of the few places to find valuable thoughts and references on that subject. There are an uncountable number of places to find the political stuff.

Come on down to the dungeon. US Politics are on everyones minds. Not going to change anyones minds though. Its Firestorms fault. He started it as usual friday, in the intraday thread.

Is wishing it was November 9th too political a statement? I'm gonna hate whoever wins anyway .... so let's just get it over with already. I'm tired of hearing about it and sick of the media. Where is the market going this week and anyone have an opinion on AAPL technically going into the week?
By the way, chinacat - I believe it's Jewish New Year so there may be lots of folks enjoying family time and celebrating. Not surprised the Board is light.

Kudos to everyone in the dungeon, I would rather look at empty space than read political posts.

Where is the market going this week and anyone have an opinion on AAPL technically going into the week? ******************************************* No TA thoughts here, but a Spongy gut instinct says we stay flat to up a little on Monday, maybe Tuesday then get driven down to 107 area until a day or two before earnings report, regain $114 area day of earnings and the week after earnings we are in the $120 range. (BTW, Phoebear, can you believe my Crimson daughter is a senior already?)
