I'll drink anything green....
Maybe a grasshopper...or Irish Beer
So, following the Kassometer, are we out of the woods? Nice volume today and yesterday. Held up well today.
I'm tired....

My good feeling about today wasn't just the bourbon talking!
Where have you been green? Oh how I missed you.

"Wake me up" when AAPL can get over 550.
I like that the 530s may be support, but as I mentioned in another post, I don't think AAPL has had two up days in a row (by market close) since Oct. 9-10. AAPL has to string together something more than we've seen the whole way down. Maybe AAPL showed a little power today, but it also needs commitment to the move on Monday IMHO.
Congrats to anyone who bought the dip today btw. I missed out, though day trading really isn't my thing (which explains why this isn't really my kinda market by any means).

Glad to see green on strong volume. But still wary, as everyone should be.
Will spend all Sunday trying to figure things out.

Wary, at a 12.4 TTM P/E? A forward P/E below 10 Throw wary to the side of the road

Wary, at a 12.4 TTM P/E? A forward P/E below 10 Throw wary to the side of the road Long term, of course not. But I'm not ruling out a revisit of the 520s. Overall a strong day, but getting stuck around 547 again stinks.

Speaking of Kass...what are the chances they're setting a trap? In what respect, he's not really long? He sends a note that the bottom is in, the herd jumps back in. They move the stock up for a day or so and then bam - send it back down to 520 or lower. I think I just joined the Tin Foil Hat club. It's been a rough month.

Dear God,
Please, oh please let AAPL rise once again. This time I promise not to be greedy and will sell it all at 700.
Amen

Some news on the Asian front, which is bullish, and may have already been noted: " China Telecom (CHA) says it plans to begin selling the iPhone 5 in late November or early December, a little earlier than expected. During Apple's FQ4 call, Tim Cook would only say Apple expects December Chinese launch. China Unicom's (CHU) chairman is more cautious in setting a timetable. Meanwhile, RBC is predicting Apple will finally reach a deal with China Mobile (CHL) in 2013, perhaps even before the Chinese New Year - the iPhone 5 doesn't support CHL's TD-SCDMA 3G network. Jason Schwarz is back in the saddle. Opened a position in April 600's with 25% of his cash today.

Just double-checked the NASDAQ holiday schedule. Though Veterans' Day is a national holiday, there will be trading on Monday.

Jason Schwarz is back in the saddle. Opened a position in April 600's with 25% of his cash today. I bought some Apr 13...puts on AMZN. Will be looking to get back into some long AAPL options strategy on Monday on continued strength, which hopefully translates into follow through for the whole day. Two consecutive up days might be a big inflection point, since it hasn't happened in about a month.

I was thinking about a Smite for that smart-aleck comment (hey, I get Smited regularly by People I Don't Even Know!(tm)), but...it being AMZN, yeah, it is a definite risk. As for the abusive relationship bit, I ain't going there.

As for the abusive relationship bit, I ain't going there. I'm totally bearish on AMZN long term as well, and used to pickup put spreads on it for quite some time. After getting burned a couple times after it would go up for some irrational reason, I vowed to never touch it again. Best of luck with that though, and hopefully the tower of AMZN will topple soon.

That's just Tim Cook's style.
And being Tim Cook he probably _is_ paying some attention to AAPL's price. Not really for himself, but for employee/executive retention purposes and maybe even a little for shareholders...
