I'll assume that was a caustic joke. Hey, not like I'm much worse than everyone else.

Might simply be a return to VWAP so it can be sold into. I never called a bottom, so I thought that it might be good luck to try it this time First and last time.

EO = Evil Overlords. In control of the stock according to iPad and her TinFoil Hat wearing minions! Ahh ok...I thought it was some real technical term ;-) LOL! Well, as technical as Benjamin Graham's allegory, EOs are my corollary personification of Mr. Market and his minions. ;D

Politicians meeting toward end of week - Pres. O speaking at approximately 1 p.m. on Friday - AGAIN - hopefully something positive will come out of preliminary discussions and he can give the nation full comfort that a deal will get done - markets rally 10% into year-end......or is this just part of the Dallas dream episode? (sorry young folk)

after hours topic:
Can someone explain to me the incentive of Samsung and Asus to make Google Branded tablets for Android. All these "Nexus" devices are designed as semi premium pieces of hardware but branded as Google tablets. They are also sold at what looks like cost so why would these OEMs make these for Google?
How is samsung and Assus making money by selling these 199 tablets for Google? I get that google mines the data and makes money by the users using the tablet but what about samsung and asus?
It is infuriating how they sell these things for cost.

Now we have lots of retail folk thinking this is a breakout, but what's really happening is the retail fish is on the hook and the line is being played out, only to be reeled back in once it runs out of energy. And reeled in at the end of day.

Bobby would be sweet - that said, good idea on the puts in case they actually decide to dig their heels in and not work toward some resolution - AND I AM NOT BEING POLITICAL - just want positive market for our AAPL!

BUH? Is it really an up day after all? Heh. Last trade now says $542.90 for less than a dime of upside.

Theres an eclipse taking place right now in my neck of the woods - ill add it to some chicken entrails thrown about with some tea leaves and declare this the bottom.

Huh? Does not compute, iPad. We lost our sheep and don't know where to find them. I'm hoping if we leave them alone, they'll come home, wagging their tails behind them. (Don't read the extended lyrics though... )

And reeled in at the end of day. Well .... you were spot on....unfortunately. We've seen this particular trick before. The blatant bit of manipulation an hour or so in got my alarm bells ringing.

If we keep hitting the wall with our head...we'll eventually make the wall bleed....right? Best quote of the day. I literally laughed out loud when I read it. Then I had to double check to make sure it wasn't my husband because this is the kind of commentary he gives all the time. Too funny.

I wish this was more transparent on how this all works with Google. They are beyond secretive about how they make money on these devices. 199 for a tablet made by asus is what it cost asus to make it so that takes up lots of time, engineers, resources, manufacturing capacity etc.. all to sell the product with zero profit for the hopes of Asus to share in Googles advertising revenue in the future. Still seems odd to me. Especially for Samsung who makes their own like 500 dollar tablets. why make a 400 table for Google?
