Well, at least it was a green week, but I really expected AAPL to be above $180 by now, if not for the Facebook Follies. Perhaps this will be a blessing in disguise as folks become more aware of the difference between how Apple safeguards their personal information in comparison to other tech giants.
Mixpanel updates. Sales of X looks healthy enough to me. Combined 8, 8+, and X at 20.69% seems healthy, even if not a 6 type super-cycle of immediate overwhelming adoption (see mix panel below, big screen offered, 2 year updates cycles w/subsidies, etc.).

To me the current trend hints of an extended/elongated yet strong iPhone cycle. Its a larger installed base than 2014/15, more models are simultaneously for sale, the X had a late launch, etc. There is a good chance this fall we'll see an additional X model, and a new SE, adding more strength than a regular "s" cycle.
...Will Apple IBM Deal Let Watson Replace Siri For Business Apps? describes some of the inner workings of the Apple/IBM partnership and how the IBM Cloud Developer Console could assist the expansion of Siri's business services capabilities through access to IBM's cloud-based services library. Perhaps this could contribute to a refinement of "Apple’s privacy-focused policies of doing on-device inferencing."
