I know, I know, but AAPL will have one hell of a gap...
Of course, gaps are just preprogrammed buying opportunities. BTFD.

I do love the Cramer video. He is dead on. I felt as he does for a looooong time. Which is why I am, happily, all in on AAPL.

This from PED this morning:
The bloggers clobbered the pros. Again. When Apple beats, indies prevail, and so it was one more time after Tuesday's Q3 2018 results. In my quarterly Apple Earnings Smackdown, now wrapping up its eleventh year, the independents took nine out of the top 10 spots—sharing the honors only with semi-pro Gene Munster, formerly of Piper Jaffray.
I would give a tip of the hat to indies Ovi Popescu and Michael Contant (Nos. 1 and 2 in Rev and EPS) if their estimates in the rest of the categories weren't so execreble (Nos. 19 and 20th, respectively, with Contant missing Services revenue by more than $2 billion).
So the real winners in my book this time around were Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6—independents Jeff F, Horace Dediu, Robert Paul Leitao and "Beltway" Greg Boyd. (Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6 in Rev and EPS with no major gaffs in the rest).
The losers were the pros who occupied nine out of the bottom 10 spots. I have to give a wag of the finger to Tim Long, whose revenue estimate was off by nearly $1.5 billion, and to the trio of pros—Piecyk, Walkley and Mohan—who underestimated EPS by exactly 19 cents a share.

Brian White's price target is now at $275.
And he's NEVER BEEN WRONG. Eventually all of his price targets are surpassed.
(Remember $777 back in the pre-7:1 split days?)
He was always laughed at and criticized for setting those .... ridiculous... price targets.
Who's laughing now?
Actually, we are.
WHEEEE.

The most cogent commentary in the PED article, IMHO; none of the other anal-ists seem to have caught on to the evolution of the Apple business model, i.e., monetization of the ever-growing user base, as discussed in this forum.
“Walter Piecyk, BTIG: iPhone Still A Star Despite Record Low Upgrade Rates. iPhone revenue grew by over 20% despite smartphone upgrade rates being at historic lows. We believe there are early signs that upgrade rates might be bottoming, which could provide an additional tailwind to our estimates that are now above consensus… Growth in R&D expense has outpaced revenue growth in 24 of the past 25 quarters, a reflection of Apple’s dedication to continue to invest for new growth opportunities. Buy. Raises price target to $235 from $207.”

I remember in the mid 2000s' watching Apple hit $200 and I couldn't believe how much money we had made ... I was much younger with a new daughter ..... fast forward to now and all I can say is Apple has changed our lives .... several houses (upgrades) and another kid later much of what we have been able to achieve has been because we made that decision to invest years ago. I'm completely indebted to Steve Jobs, Tim Cook and the rest of the company.
A VERY VERY BIG ....
CHEERS TO THE LONGS!

Was it Andy Zach that was prognosticating AAPL would hit $1400 by 2014? That seemed wildly ambitious back then...but we eventually got there. Does White have a timeline? Assume it’s 12 months. Otherwise as you say, eventually...

Not posting a lot but cont to visit and lurk. Happy for everyone that are regular visitors here. The discussions always interesting and informative and help me feel confident buying and holding. It’s a bit strange but as the per share price cont to climb, I would normally fell more uncertian about this being a value investment but the value argument seems to be making more sense as time goes on. You don’t see that very often. Warren buffet seems to agree. It’s the people on this board and Horace and Gene that have helped keep me in this stock. Thanks to you all. And with this big milestone I will again suggest a get together for face to face discussions. Vegas is waiting.

I think the GS upgrade is responsible for the 201 move more then anything else. My target is now 215 by Sept.
Solid quarter. Biggest takeaway is that people will pay an average of $700 for iPhone and I don’t see that number changing much for at least 5 more years.
Brian White’s target is very possible but he is usually too high for a 12 month target. I can see it being reach by Christmas next year.
I am curious to see what TC was referring to when he talked about new products with new service revenue stream. VR gaming headset and new movie subscription come to mind in the next 24 months.
As far as stock price I can see a 12% correction from ATH either in Oct or Dec.
