Not with AAPL VOLUME! It approached 4 times the average volume. GOOG volume was huge too, but not all FANG (or related) stocks. There weren't huge open interest in options expiring today. Someone's doing some arbitrage or something. I'm sure Cramer will take a stab at it. RSI is down to 50.06. And if the stock stays flat for around 2 weeks, the 50 day MA will come up to it. But Sponge is probably right that we'll see a dip down to it, also dropping that RSI to a hair under 40, while dipping below the 50 DMA by a couple points for a couple days. Have a good weekend.

Well well! PC Magazine fires John DvorakPretty much everything he ever had to say about Apple was nonsense, or worse (or if not, it actually "was" but cleverly hidden) For instance, "famously", in March 2007 before the iPhone ever hit the streets: Apple Should Pull the Plug On iPhoneHard to see how anyone could EVER have been more specifically wrong, in history. Although Dell's comment about Apple, a decade earlier, also qualifies, even though it was far less specific.

If we do touch the 50 MA next week, I think we should be ready for a move of at least 5 points below it. A few TA folks are looking at as low as 206.
For Oct I noticed a ton of puts for the S&P. Which tells me any correction in the near term is only the first shoe to drop.
Rebought my Oct puts yesterday at a 50% discount from Wednesday. Of course today they are up, but expect better returns in the next two weeks.
I don’t buy the market headlines that the China trade hurts them more then us, therefore we are OK. The Chinese can sacrifice much more pain since they don’t answer to the people like our politicians.

Dvorak got a lot wrong, but he was amusing, and his shtick was trolling before that was a word. He was the ultimate PC nerd foil. But that's not how you fire a guy after 36 years. His Twitter feed is actually interesting. Happy weekend, all. While my October AAPL option spreads are a bit underwater ATM, I had some nice AMZN option spreads expire ITM today...

Hey, just remembered to check this board. Is there really a gathering in New Hampshire? I’m close enough to run up the hill from Eastern Mass. Where can I find details?
