I just read The Big Hack as linked above. OMG! Props to Jordan Robertson and Michael Riley for writing such a story. How they managed to accumulate all the sources and information that went into it would probably make an intriguing spy novel all by itself. It will be fascinating to see if this blows up into the giant issue it should or if it merely goes quietly into the night. Stay tuned.

My trust in Apple is deep so then my question becomes...,how did these two think they'd get away with this? Again I'll just say...,stay tuned.

The skeptic in me notes that those issuing denials all have vested interests.
Much like the Kavanaugh hearings, I want evidence before deciding whom to believe... or not.

Straight from Apple, good enough for me. Apple has earned my trust and if they say it didn't happen ...it didn't happen. A little profit taking is probably a good thing ..... Cheers to the longs.

The skeptic in me notes that those issuing denials all have vested interests. Much like the Kavanaugh hearings, I want evidence before deciding whom to believe... or not. not takin' sides here but... the credibility killer for that Dr. Ford gal, was that she said she used her cell phone, after the incident, to call a friend to come get her. IN 1982 !? ... Even the most primitive commercial cell phones weren't even available until late 1983 and they were as big as a walkie talkie and cost over $4,000 a piece... you see, the under 30 crowd doesn't realize that we haven't always had iPhones (or cell phones of ANY kind for that matter). This is also the same demographic that'll tell ya that chemtrails have always been there. Well, seeing as how the didn't start spraying them (in earnest) until about 1996ish, technically, the under 30 crowd is right! Now you know who the media is trying to pitch this Kavanaugh story (and other silly stories) to. The news isn't for people born before 1988 anymore. YIKES!

That's obviously a false rumor invented by trolls. www.snopes.com/fact-check/christine-blasey-ford-cellphone-1982/Do you really need the AAPL finance board to cover this political issue? Just drop it.

You *are* taking sides if you pass on that cell phone story without checking to see if it's accurate. Just a simple search: www.snopes.com/fact-check/christine-blasey-ford-cellphone-1982/Dr. Christine Blasey Ford did not claim that she called a friend on her cellphone after Brett Kavanaugh allegedly attacked her in 1982. This claim does not appear in the letter Ford sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee on 22 September 2018, nor was it offered by her during her opening statement or in the subsequent questioning of her before the committee.
In fact, Ford said that she didn’t tell anyone (via cellphone or otherwise) about what had happened in the immediate aftermath of the alleged attack:
====================== Don't like/trust Snopes? OK, how about: 1. Verify: Did Dr. Ford say she used a cell phone after her alleged encounter with Brett Kavanaugh?2. Fact Check: Did Dr. Christine Blasey Ford Claim to Use a Cell Phone Prior to Their Commercial Existence?3. Did Dr. Christine Blasey Ford Claim to Use a Cell Phone Prior to Their Commercial Existence? So your post said, "Now you know who the media is trying to pitch this Kavanaugh story (and other silly stories) to"? Gee, I wonder who the originator of this blatant falsehood is trying to convince that Dr. Ford is not telling the truth. Do you suppose it was those unscrupulous anti-trump people that are trying to destroy a good man's reputation? No...I don't either. Attachments:

I don’t remember when it happened, where it happened, how I got there, who was there, who drove me home, how many boys were there, but I’m 100% sure it was Kavanaugh. I have no corroborating evidence or friends that can at least verify some thing’s.
I lied about being afraid to fly. I lied about reasons for the second front door. I lied about never instructing others how to fool a polygraph test. I cried when taking my polygraph test (Which is a known way to pass it). I wanted confidentially from Feinstein but instead of sharing it privately to the Judicial committee to be investigated 2 months ago, Feinstein reported Ford’s situation two plus weeks ago after it leaked to the press. If anyone has a brain here’s a thinking exercise. A. Dems claim that the Kavanaugh allegations are not politically driven. B. Christian Basley Ford took these allegations to politicians not law enforcement. C. Hired democratic operative lawyers to represent her. D. Michaels who interviewed Ford at the hearings has said no reasonable lawyer would attempt to prosecute Kavanaugh. C. The presumption of innocence has been thrown out the door.
Ok now back to stealth mode till the next political back and forth happens. Remember though we are all citizens (those that are) of the US, In a heartbeat we would all unite if some event God forbid threatens us all.

Sorry I made the comparison of the alleged Chinese spying with the Kavanaugh hearing.
If you want to continue the discussion, please move it to the dungeon.
