Here is the appI think this app is "(INSERT THOUGHTS HERE)" if it becomes a BIG DEAL, we can discuss it as a dungeon subject.

I do not agree that the discussion of the Saudi app necessarily belongs in the dungeon. If the desire is to denigrate others or name call, then yes.
However if the desire is to discuss the app as an example of the hazards of curation, then it seems like a reasonable topic to discuss here. Particularly since so many are banking on Services as Apple's future.
For instance, there has been much discussion of Apple News. Indeed, there is a headline on yahoo this morning "would you subscribe". I will not. I prefer to peruse original sources and form my own opinion rather than have others curate 'what I need to know'. You might respond by pointing out that I 'curate' what I post here. That is true. However, others are welcome and encouraged to post whatever they like -- to ensure that we get as broad a perspective on Apple as possible. We ask only that you keep it legal (e.g. no inciting violence), on topic, and not attack others.
As to the Saudi app, since it is in Farsi, I can only comment based on what I have read... that it is a government app that provides access to numerous government services (DMV) beyond controlling and tracking women. That said, like many, I find that ability abhorrent. What was Apple thinking? To those who say Apple is merely complying with local law, bear in mind that there are slaves and active slave markets in the world. What would be our response to a government app controlling and tracking slaves? How different is that really?
Apple is between a rock and a hard place here, particularly since Tim stated they have a moral obligation to act consistently with their values.

Well will retail sales number out and the confirmation that Trump folded on China by extending the tariff deadline by 60 days, I don’t see us going up much more from here. So I went ahead and bought puts at a much higher strike price then three weeks ago.
I can see us filling the earnings gap at 155 in the next 30 days.

Anyone else with a TD Ameritrade account? Have your dividends shown up yet?
Always there first thing in the AM, but today? Not yet.
(I've called and they said, should show up by the end of the day, but to me this is unusual and I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing the same thing)...

My trading / investment account was recently transferred to E-Trade. Last quarter's dividend payment, as well as reinvestment, didn't show up in my transaction history until the next day for whatever reason.
EDIT: I should clarify though that they payment was received, and reinvestment executed on the correct day. It's just that the transaction history didn't show up until the next day.

There was an article I think a few days ago on Bloomberg which stated he had given instructions to his negotiating team that he wanted a deal “any deal”. Apparently he is not happy with how the market is acting from the trade war uncertainty. Now he floated the idea of not raising tariffs for 60 days.

Ok, I was aware of the floating the idea of not raising tariffs for 60 days. Thanks for the 'clarification'.

Small panic selling after hours on news that Uncle Warren sold some AAPL last quarter while it was assumed that he'd be buying in truckloads.

When aapl was at 225 he was quoted in an interview that he would love to buy more if it was 10% cheaper. Well he got the opportunity to buy it at 35% discount from ATH. Instead of buying more he actually sold some. The stock dropped less then .05%. Had he sold 5% you would have seen a much bigger move. I think he will slowly sell more without causing too much panic. When he announced he had bought aapl, the stock went up 12% the following two weeks. There are lots of TA folks who see 120 this June. I saw that just from a FA point.

There are lots of TA folks who see 120 this June. I saw that just from a FA point. It would be very *interesting*, if I may use that word, to find that both the "lots of TA folks" and *you*, can foresee where the AAPL share price is going to go, four months into the future. Do you, and perhaps the TA folks, keep track of your respective accuracy over the years? You know, like a batting average for baseball players, where if a player is hitting, for example, over .300 for the season, he's doing pretty well. I think that would *also* be interesting. Just curious.
