So for $250 less the new iPad Air 256gig seems like a big discount. But if you look closer you get a smaller screen, no Liquid Retina, no Face ID, and slower processor. Apple will make a nice margin on these new iPads. Will it be enough to drive upgrades up. I think so.

They also dropped the 10.5 iPad pro. Makes total sense. It didn't need to be there since the 11" iPad pro one with such small bezels would be the one to get if you wanted the latest greatest. Today's 10.5 is the replacement for the Air 2. The entry level iPad was a slight step down from the Air 2. What I was waiting for so I ordered one. What I don't get is the pencil. Why don't they just drop pencil 1 for pencil 2? Doesn't matter to me since no one in my family has any desire to draw.
