Nice to see AAPL green in a sea of red. That green has been wavering, but AAPL has stayed about a percent ahead of the S&P's movement so far today. That's just as helpful on a down day as an up day, for the long term benefits. Volume is decent too, getting to 20M about 2 hours in.

Looks like today is one of those bad news = good news = bad news days that we used to joke about here. The Fed sounding dovish on rates is generally good for the markets but a bad omen for future growth which is bad for the markets. But is the Fed secretly just being dovish on rates because hawkish is bad for markets and they are being blamed?
We're all quantitative easers now.

Just the sort of thing Steve hated, customer confusion from too many product offerings. I'm sure most of you remember the story of him slashing everything to just four product lines when he returned to Apple. I've actually considered the Samsung wireless pods because they are supposed to be more comfortable in the ears and better at noise cancelling. Hate the idiotic music they play at my local gym (although a 2019 resolution of mine is to build a home gym in my new home).
Is Apple only offering the new AirPods in white?

I have the amazing Phiaton 460 headphones BT. Multiple headphones can connect to the same music (great for dancing with a partner). There is a touch interface on the right headphone to control volume, pause, and next track.
Did not like the AirPods. Did not feel good in the ears.

Hate the idiotic music they play at my local gym (although a 2019 resolution of mine is to build a home gym in my new home). Is Apple only offering the new AirPods in white? It's been one of those strange relationships where Apple has sometimes overly limited the products (initial product grid of 3 or 4), but sometimes bent the rules (multiple colors of that initial iBook, and then tons of colors of iMacs, iPods, etc). But in general, more thought has been put into it than some of the product lines available just before SJ came back. I remember the LC, Centris, Quadra, and Performa lines, which often had the later 3 with identical plastics, and just a different sticker label. Sometimes these were available at the same stores (I think "Good Guys" had both Centris and Quasars, vs I bought my Performa 405 down the street at Montgomery Wards). Add in multiple configurations, and similar machines that just had additional space for cards and a CD drive, and it was messy. I don't see a problem with there being multiple headphones, especially if there is a consumer need for them. Just based on a couple postings here, it seems like there is an untapped (by Apple at least) market.
