Those cinnamon rolls looked good, but talk about an April Fools joke pushed in there. Those drinks had actual straws. I mean, they're in CA. I think you get organic mud thrown at you if you're seen with a straw. Is Amazon even allowed to ship those in the state?
Ok, they probably substituted some guar gum based straw or something, which might work fine with cold drinks, but surprises you if you put it in something hot. Like the compostable cup that I tried putting hot chocolate in a couple weeks ago at the ski resort. It shriveled up like a raisin, only just barely holding in the liquid before I quenched it with a little bit of Tahoe tap.
While I prefer AAPL staying up with the market, and it would be nice to see AAPL surpass a TTM P/E of 16, each day above the 200 DMA is good, even if the stock is slow to make it over the $200 mark. I'd also prefer a little froth since I'm sure there will be a jiggle in the market over something at some point (always is). But like the snow slowly melting away, sometimes it's nice to just sit back and watch it progress. And then you realize that AAPL is up around 35% from the low. Not bad, for just over 3 months.
As long as Apple keeps increasing its profits, AAPL will head up. The zigs and zags are just the noise while getting there.
Just FYI, I have sold all my shares and I am now bearish on Apple.
Hi jdsocal. Would you mind sharing with us what your perspective is currently? Are you staying in the market but somewhere else or exiting to some other vehicle? Apple is in a less inspiring place at the moment but I'm still bullish on the possibilities and don't see any (what I consider to be) real competitors in this space. Will miss your observations should you decide to leave here.
mercel: It's been a long strange trip - good to see you're still around (and in AAPL -my assumption).
