Chinacat - Thanks for opening the thread every day. You da man!
Can't wait for Apple Card to hit the markets. It might just go on to become a silent sleeper hit like Apple Pay. Although it can't really be called a "hit" in terms of profits for Apple, it sure will be a convenience product that'll expand the eco-system.

I can confirm first hand this is happening. Met with Chinese business man who explained that many companies are moving out and the US in his view is the best option for his needs. Regarding aapl, we have caught with market in one day what took the market one week. Volume was high the first 30 min but now has dropped significantly. The SPY is trying to figure out which way to go. I think we will have to wait for Retail Sales number to fully confirm if we keep going up. Options indicate a close around 198 for Friday. I think earnings will be a mixed bag with an initial sell off and then off to the races towards my 224 number by middle of Sept.

Much to Trump's dismay, manufacturing is being shifted out of China to other countries instead of coming back to America. In any case, he must be happy that he's causing damage to China which might hopefully help in bringing about a resolution in the trade war.
China is definitely in an economic problem but they're the kind who'll choose to die rather than bow down and strike a fair deal.

China is definitely in an economic problem but they're the kind who'll choose to die rather than bow down and strike a fair deal. The challenge with China is that there is the CCP and central gov who are trying to maintain control and then there are millions of business men and women who have their own self interests and preservation in mind. The little billionaire will not wait for Beijing to resolve this issue. With each passing day the CCP is having less influence over these companies. However the gov is still powerful enough to put in road blocks and tell the masses what to buy.

And also want to add to the chorus to thank Chinacat for keeping AFB afloat. Thanks Chinacat ! ! ! I appreciate the several recent kind thoughts, and look forward to reading AFB each day, but unless others begin to step up, I will at some point grow weary of the "responsibility" and give up, just as Since84 and lovemyipad did. So the best way to thank me is to start the thread on some random day when you see that it has not yet been started. This is not a threat, merely a reminder of what inevitably happens.

Looks like we are on the way to 210 instead of 198 this Friday Must of been the big options swing from this morning... We will see in am if OI went up. But since we did not go negative and actually went green in all markets and aapl went over 205, it radically changed sentiment It looks like someone knows retail sales will be good tomorrow
