I'm currently using Bing on iOS and is not too far from Google in quality. Has some comparative shortcomings, but in practicality, its tolerable.

I use Yahoo, but will give Bing a try. I have moved away from Google on all devices. Yahoo maps are not good.

I am on Google. Never really gave much thought to switching.

I dont like that Google and Yahoo both default to showing results from several years. I sometimes use advanced search in Google to limit my result to one year or one month. I thought Yahoo allowed this too, but sometimes I can't seem to find it.
I think a good search engine should automatically provide the most recent results first. For example, if I search for "super bowl location", and the first result is 2009 super bowl website.

Yes, the google search results can be fairly annoying. The good news is that Wikipedia appears at the top a lot.
Meanwhile, search engines as a whole are on a collision course. Amazon, Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Bing and to a limited extent Siri. There have been reports that an engine by Amazon or Facebook is going to sledgehammer Google once or twice. Keep an eye on this space.
