Dark mode could be useful on OLED phones because it saves battery.

So maybe iPhone buyers are smarter and won’t upgrade to the 5G next year if the network is not ready.
Given that today we are in triple witching, we could see 217.

And those who bought the 5G phones today will probably end up upgrading to a new model again next year because it will have the true support of the more practical worldwide deployment of 5G network.

Meanwhile, NFLX is off 7% as CEO says it's a "whole new world starting in November" with the launch of Apple TV+ and Disney+...

What just happened? We're at 218.25.
Is it quad witching or triple witching that Sponge mentioned above or somebody just tweeted?

I’m seeing multiple stocks drop really quickly just after 13:00 ET, so it’s marketwide. China’s goodwill ag visits were canceled, so perhaps fear of an escalation in the trade war?

Dark mode is useless to me. Don't get it. I use my iPad for reading lots and just don't see any advantage.

I doubt the administration approves of the Pelosi and Congressional actions driving a wedge in trade negotiations. Hong Kong anti-extradition movement gets boost from US. In a strong show of support for the three-month-old anti-extradition and pro-democracy movement, the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representives, Nancy Pelosi, has pledged to move ahead speedily with the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act that could see sanctions imposed on officials found to have deprived the city’s residents of their human rights. americanmilitarynews.com/2019/09/hong-kong-anti-extradition-movement-gets-boost-from-us/?utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=alt&utm_source=amn

Yep! And not to show off, but my new 11, and a case, just arrived. The UPS driver said he had lots of deliveries of iPhones today. Though he lamented problems with the 8 screen of it going black. His 13 year old son has one, and they use it to track him (knowingly). When it doesn't work, he doesn't use it. I told him my background and that I hadn't heard of an 8 screen issue, but my son is only a few months younger, so we talked a bit more. Setup isn't perfect. I had bluetooth off on the old iPhone, so auto setup couldn't work. It didn't mention needing bluetooth, but it makes sense, and worked when I turned it on. The "swipe up" instructions skip to a different language quickly, and I thought I was trying to swipe to the side. Then when I tried up, I wasn't doing it right, not going from the very very very bottom. User error? Sure, I'll take the blame. But if I was at Apple, I would be getting these minor quibbles fixed. Just a small tweak can make all the difference. The first transfer from the old iPhone didn't work entirely, so I was asked if I wanted to reset the iPhone, but only given one option. This second attempt is looking good. I selected a few less options, just in case. I hate it when the time estimate increases. On the iPhone itself, it looks great, though the red under the back glass is a bit more pinkish than the nice red of the edges. Roughly speaking, the screen is 50% taller, and nearly 25% wider, than the old 5S. I know, that's a terrible one to compare it to, but it is what it is. And that will make this update be much more than incremental by anyones standards. Just finished the transfer, and then moved my sim card over, and it's working great! (FWIW, I was at a meeting with 11 people today from all different groups in the basin, talking about e-bikes and electric scooters. 10 of us had our smart phones sitting out on the desks. All had roughly the same look (ok, mine was old and boxy), enough that it was hard for me to tell from a distance what they were. It turned out the woman next to me had a Google phone...and I could barely tell, though it had bars at the top and bottom. At least 8 had covers on, though maybe 5 of those were clear. I'd be hard pressed to say that a significant form factor is needed, and from more than a few feet, especially with cases on, it's hard to tell what is what.)

Given that today we are in triple witching, we could see 217. Right again. $217.73 A little lucky in prediction, since had we stayed positive we could have gone up to 225 instead. Historically we correct and then WS will use some excuse with a headline to justify. So we moved just like clock work and repeated history. Now if MACD crosses over and becomes bearish ( we need to drop about 5 points for that) then we could see a quick trip to 210 and if that breaks then 198. The next two days will tell us what we will do. I expect some negative headline about trade to take us down, and then suddenly some progress on trade to bring us right back up. Until earnings In the mean time all data indicates further economic slowing in China and our rate of growth also continues to drop. Don’t believe the FED one bit about no recession. They are simply trying to massage the market and prevent panic. The person who is panicking is Trump. He reaction to the FED says it all.
