That 217 line has been well defended by the bulls. Now we wait for next week to see if it can be broken. I suspect Apple is buying back its own stock.

My reading of chicken entrails indisputably predict a 220.123456789 close. 🐓 🎯 🎲 🎲

Apple is significantly stronger then the market in the last 30 days.
I think Apple is bringing the market up.
The key this week will now be 220. If we close above that the next two days then chances of a selloff decrease.

If we hold 220 this week ... I predict that we will open Monday either ABOVE 220 or BELOW 220 ..... Now if we open lower than 220 on Monday morning I predict we will end the week somewhere between $7 - $4000 per share. COUNT ON IT!
Then again ... if we open ABOVE 220 on Monday I will post again with my predictions ....
BTW, Cook is a fool, the economy is collapsing and Cook is a genius and the future looks bright !
SHEESH .....
Cheers to the longs.

"During 2016 Apple services revenues were $25.6 billion. In January 2017, just after the end of that year, Tim Cook said “We feel great about this momentum, and our goal is to double the size of the services business in the next four years”. If Apple were to hit that target, during calendar year 2020, Apple’s services revenues should exceed $50 billion. In 2017 they were $32 billion, in 2018 they were 41.5 billion and so far this year they are 23 billion. If, as has been the case during 2017 and 2018 (see graphs below,) Apple were to maintain 30% growth in Services during the rest of this year they will have revenues of $51 billion in 2019; reaching the doubling tarted a year sooner than predicted. Apple will have doubled Services in 3 years to a level equivalent to a Fortune 63 company (right behind Goldman Sachs)." www.asymco.com/2019/09/25/the-triumph-of-the-walled-garden/Great read as usual by Horace.

I think it's time to start an Official Impeachment Hearing into removing Sponge. You may have the votes in the Bull House to start investing, but I assure you that you don’t have the votes in quiet Bear Senate for formal removal.😂 My supporters are not vocal, but they do root for my position. Impeachment talk will look foolish when we hit my targets.😏 and I get filthy rich. The irony is that everyone should be happy we are going up, but instead angry as if they bought puts.

I am thrilled that our buy-and-hold position is re-approaching a 10-bagger, and I don't go to bed each night wondering how some cockamamie guess will look at the end of tomorrow, while happily pocketing a nice dividend present every quarter. Of course, YMMV.

Do we know for sure Apple can’t – or doesn’t – buy during this quiet period?
It seemed the ASR program had allowed this in the past (if brokers settled with Apple outside of period and sold sometime later in the period). Did someone here get the clarification from Investor Relations? Or did you see the buybacks in the 10-Q and saw a pattern that indicated that Apple doesn’t buy back directly during the quiet period.
Google search: Apple FORM 10-Q pursuant to Rule 10b5-1(c) Share repurchase program: …Under this program, shares may be repurchased in privately negotiated and/or open market transactions, including under plans complying with Rule 10b5-1 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the “Exchange Act”).
An equity trading plan is a written document that pre-establishes the amounts, prices and dates (or formula for determining the amounts, prices and dates) of future purchases or sales of the Company’s stock,
