Correction. The pre-market that was red is now green and growing. Carry on.

Nasty? TC and Apple’s response was sanguine and Mr Barr is a uneducated individual. Apple will not do a backdoor, nor should they! I am an American, and with that comes certain liberties. We should finish green, or even, either way, i am unconcerned, heck down 2 bucks might be refreshing! Cheers

There was a gap generated last Thursday that may get filled soon.
Just a thought.

Absent a new law passed by Congress (one which survives a certain court challenge), the feds can't force Apple to engineer a back door on their phones (this is an oversimplification but I am not inclined to go into more detail). But yes a little pause is good for AAPL, lest it be oversold. LoveMyIpad used to say, stocks take stairs on the way up, but a falling elevator on the way down. I think TSLA is headed for the latter.

Just a interesting observation that some of you may relate to. One of the smartest and luckiest decisions I ever made was to start buying Apple about 2004 and have added to the position ever since. My reason for buying was different than many, I admired Apple but like many, didn’t have the extra money to buy their computers. However, around 2003 they ported their iTunes to windows and I started using it. I was so impressed how much better the software experience was on an apple interface than windows I thought these guys would start gaining market share and began to nibble at buying. Long story short have cont. to buy esp with big dips to the point that it has made me safe enough financially to not worry about retirement or work. Even with a sig pullback. There have been times I worry enough about over exposure , run ups, set backs etc. that I have wanted to greatly decrease my exposure but I credit this board and a few other sources for helping me steady and check that tendency. For that you all have my thanks. Perhaps we reg members can meet someday and I can do it in person.
I bring it up because I sold 150 shares at the open today. As I will do occasionally just to buy something but not to sig. reduce my ownership. I picked 150 as that was the usual number I picked to raise 8 to 12000$ for small things. Imagine my shock when the settlement amount was 47000 $. I just hadn’t looked at the dollar amount on the trade. It was a real reminder how much the value of this stock has increased. Thanks again to all here for steady fact based discussions on this great company.

If tomorrow's a bigger down day then it'll be time to put in a few stink bids.

(Tax considerations not taken into account but, you get the idea)
