Ugh, I had to flip long the other day to salvage my bearish GOOG spreads -- flipped them into bull put spreads. Now very green.
I can't bring myself to look at the chart intraday, because I know I will be biased and want to short it.

The only good short at the moment is a 3x inverse ETF. Ha!

I picked up a crap ton of TSLA Jan 2015 call options ($40 strike) back when the stock was at $33/share...which was about 2 months ago...in AH the stock just blew past $70/share.
Lest anyone think I'm tooting my horn, I'm not...I'm just happy to be looking at making back all my AAPL losses from the last 7 months...still love AAPL but thank god for this short squeeze opportunity with TSLA...

Having second thoughts about shorting GOOG. I'm thinking January 2010 to June 2012 was primary 2 of cycle 3. We're in minor 3 of intermediate 3 of primary 3. Lots of threes = big move up. Talking about a minimum target for primary 3 of 1400. Over 844 and I'm going long. I bought today at 906. I wish I could have followed my original plan, but my cash got tied up in a goof up by Fidelity. Oh well. I still think the above to be true, and expect GOOG to continue to rip, market correction be damned (if it ever comes). Short-term or long-term, I don't think it's too late to jump in here. Daily MACDh turned bullish again today, and weekly continues to climb the mountain.

I'm a value trader. Deal with it. ;D I won't consistently trade what I don't understand. I don't understand Google (and I have tried now and then). Simple as that.

Probably means squat, but there's a potential H&S setting up on the SPX... The measured move would be ~ 34 points below the neckline ~ 1746-ish ~ rising daily SMA-50 (blue line). Not holding my breath, but there it is... Also note EMA-13 (purple) and SMA-20 (yellow) are kissing, poised to make a bearish cross, but ultimately price will decide. Watch that 1793-1795-ish area -- bullish above; bearish below. SPX Daily Chart:

The SPX has been on a monster run all year. Redler's recent tweet showing the monthly SPX chart does show a breakout after two friggin' decades.
At some point we might be in for a substantial multi-week/month correction but not right yet.
Yup, I've noticed that too but I'm skeptical for the time being.

I figure this is either a new multi-year Bull market in the happening, or it's a bubble. And we won't know which one until it's over. Regardless, I haven't shorted an index since Spring. I prefer to get my face ripped off shorting individual equities. ;D

Tough one. Retrace or macro-type breakout in progress?

Trying a momo/bounce play on YELP. Nice reclaim of SMA-20, basing well, MACD-h crossover.

Gene Munster raised GOOG one-year price target to 1263.
If I wasn't already short, I'd be looking to short after that.

TWTR target 78-ish because bull flag or 80 because round numbers? LOL
This is like a high-speed TSLA. If that even makes sense.
