Let's just say, I want to agree that Oppenheimer's mysterious 8-K opens the door to a revenue _and_ net income beat. I'm really liking the prospects for guidance if only because of the lower consensus bar. Total WAG, of course. ;D Agree. I think the stars really may be aligned for the first time since spring of 2012. Hitting on all cylinders, We will see tomorrow

Amazon failed at something? Watch it go to $400 tomorrow in the PM.

OT question: Can you die from a hangover? #askingforafriend While you are at it, may I ask a question of the AAPL centric board? Are the little green pills better than the red ones?

What are the chances Denver will let NY swap Manning brothers? Peyton rocks....great game (Denver/Skins) Now focused on Bosox and Cards....it keeps my mind off of AAPL. Tomorrow will be stressful enough! And yes, you can die of a hangover - your head falls off your neck and rolls onto the floor...but you can just put it back and hold it together with duct tape....just another handy use for that sucker.

It's too quiet around here. Like Christmas Eve .
Where's our present? Do I have to wait till morning? ( or afternoon)?

I'm remaining on the sidelines for Monday and earnings. You can all thank me later when AAPL goes up all day Monday and gets an extra 10% boost in AH. Not only will I thank you but the next round is on me ! Good luck to the longs

Did AT&T release a breakout of smart phones sales for the quarter they just reported (and % of iPhones in that mix?)

It's the Seahawks year. Like the old days of apple earnings, they'll beat all expectations handily +100

Wow, game 4 of World Series ends by a Cardinals runner picked off at first base. I would never had modeled that.

It _started_ promising (the title, anyway) but then... online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304470504579161502398581642Oh, tech journalists. Almost every last one of 'em...and Manjoo is one of the better ones... Here's a question for them - if Google's destiny is to be, I dunno, "disintermediated" (they don't care about anything other than being everywhere on every device, extracting their mills and cents and customer data), how can they ever achieve a compelling user experience? More importantly, why did they buy Moto, the same way that Microsoft basically bought Nokia, kinda like the way Samsung's developing Tizen, sorta like the way Amazon is amusingly appropriating Android and Amazon-ing it for its own integrated ends? If I didn't know any better, it seems they all see value in vertical integration!

Gah! I'd call him a retarded monkey who was dropped on his head, but that would be insensitive. To retarded monkeys who were dropped on their heads.
