Uh...there's no "reset" button on any iPhone. There's the reset procedure, yes, there's the SIM tray unlock, there's nothing on the back but...the back. Yes, you are correct, there is no reset button on the back of an iPhone, however there IS a reset button on the back of an ATT Microcell.

My reserved iPhones have shipped from Rogers Corporate to my local kiosk. Could take 4 days to arrive. Bleh...
I wonder if phones in Rogers possession count towards today's sales figure.

My order arrived today after all. My first thoughts were positive, but after an evening of use I am falling in love with it. Turn by turn is brilliantly executed (plus maps are better in my area so far), and the panorama feature is extremely slick. LTE is insane.

Have been using for 2 full days now, features totally impressed, could not be happier (although looking forward to voice navigation which is not currently available in Aussie)
One concern though is battery life. When not in use something seems to be sucking the life out of it much faster than IPhone 4. Will need to do more comparisons, but that is one area I was looking forward to being better.
I would have sacrificed another 1 or 2mm in thickness to have a larger battery that would make the phone truly last a full day with light to moderate use.
How's the battery life going with everyone else?

It's really noticeable to me because I only have one cable right now, so I need to pay attention to the battery.

Uh...100%? Yeah, that's a battery indicator bug. Don't know, Mav, I wouldn't be too quick to judge: It's a couple days later, and, after fairly light use, my battery still reads 25%. So far so good. I've found that if I go to an area with bad cell coverage, then the phone drains quickly while continually searching for a tower. Otherwise, aside from Maps being a power sponge, I'm getting more battery life with "regular use." ButWhaddoIKnow.

Being on a fringe in LTE is going to be a more frequent occurrence for a while, given the coverage holes.

My battery seems to be besting my iPhone 4 battery time. I've been getting a full day, plus the next morning. My old phone would be dead by morning if not plugged in at night.
Maps, here in Portland, have been very good in my use so far. I've been testing turn by turn daily, with excellent results. Much preferred to the non- turn by turn of iOS Google maps I'd gotten used to. The search function needs some maturing, obviously not on par with Google maps search. But this is simple to workaround, for now.
Also, having airplay (video) for the first time is pretty great. There is lots of stuff I couldn't stream on the AppleTV until now (including HBO Go on the upstairs t.v. that I refuse to shell out for a separate cable box).
Panorama is a real pleasure to use.
Speed is still amazing. LTE is way beyond my expectations. No wifi issues whatsoever. No aluminum scratching so far (I'm hard on phones--genl. contractor). In short, it's the best new iPhone experience yet by far.

Here's the test: Settings >> General >> Usage - if I remember correctly Without charging, what's your iPhone active runtime and standby time, from, say 100% to 50%, 25%, 5%? And what kind of use during the runtime? Looking forward to any data you'd like to share. My 100% battery comment was only to your report that you were still at 100% after significant use. Gas tank meter psychology aside (Apple does it too), that shouldn't happen, and I have had the "stuck at 100%" battery meter bug before on prior iPhones.

Ok, so we sell a few thousand less iPhone5s than we would have without the maps FUD, then turn around and sell 40 million more next year to the Chinese with CM on board. (They like the Apple Map App)! New story out this morning, now they don't like it. I am trying to understand this scratching BS. There are articles out there claiming that since Aluminum is silver, it will show through when scratched. Now call me crazy, but I would be shocked if the whole casting was not black. (this would mean there would be no silver showing through.) There is an concerted effort to drive AAPL down. Heck, it was the lead story on my local news. Maps, of course.

I happen to be a mechanical engineer and know for a fact that anodized aluminum (done properly) is extremely durable. I deal with it daily. It can scratch off, but it would have to be scraped on a pretty hard surface.

Using some common sense (Not putting it in the same pocket as a set of keys) should put the matter to rest. This is crazy to have this discussion .... I don't think this will keep anyone from buying the phone but if it's that important you can always get the white one.
After listening to Cramer for the last day or so he brings up an important point ... people are holding Apple up to impossible standards ... and it's also true for the Stock . I'm so pissed about the stock price if I were TC I'd start buying back like crazy and tell Wall Street to go F$c& itself !!

While at the Apple store I held both the 4s and 5 for quite some time. On the weight they actually both feel equal with one in each hand but the 5 gives the perception of lighter because its elongated and thinner. On the back I actually like the 4s better, it just feels more substancial but that is IMHO. The larger screen really only buys you a an additional row of icons; everything else is virtually the same size. Where the screen size really makes a difference is in video. Video clearly is bigger and better IF you watch movies and shows on your phone. I use my iPad for video therefore if it weren't for 4G I would probably stick with the 4S.

Seems odd that it was so easily damaged in that video.
