But then I like Luke and Blake as well and I think I get your point.

Not calling any market tops. (Same way I had to stop calling AAPL bottoms after being wrong for six months.) Just sharing some observations... SPX WEEKLY CHART:

SPX WEEKLY CHART: I believe WS has triple witching + NASDAQ 100 rebalance happening on the same day, the 20th (2 days after the alleged CM iPhone announcement)

I want two things from Apple in 2014:
A spam filter on the iPhone and iPad and a bigger phone. My hands are too big for 4 inch screen. I am not alone!!!

YES, that's fine, can't recall the last time you mentioned a need for a bigger iPhone, any Apple foibles aside there's clearly still substantial demand for a "smaller-screened smartphone". On that last point, it'll be very interesting to see if Apple shoves the iPhone userbase towards BigPhones or goes for two form factors with mostly no compromise in capability between the two. Y'know, kinda like iPad Air and iPad mini retina. It's kinda funny how Samsung and the other Android OEMs have pretty much shut down any possibility of an "iPhone mini". Not that I think Apple minds, considering how densely everything is packed as it is.

From MacDailyNews...
“BCN is a Japanese company that tracks consumer electronic device sales in Japan,” Chuck Jones writes for Forbes. “It publishes data on a weekly basis and in its latest findings Apple’s iPhone 5s and 5c are in the first nine positions and 11 of the top 14.” “In Kantar’s latest smartphone survey ending in October it estimates that the iPhone’s Japanese market share was 61.1% on a three month rolling average but hit 76.1% in the month of October,” Jones writes. “If BCN’s numbers are anywhere close to being right, the addition of NTT DoCoMo along with new iPhones and iPads should produce stellar results in this region for at least the December quarter.”

I had an epiphany after rattling off what seemed like War and Peace on my 5s keyboard today: Texting on a 4" inch display is a chore. Even my hand surgeon (tendon repair) remarked "you have very large hands," and this Dr. operated on sports players. I've used the mic to dictate my IM but is not always practical. A larger screen is overdue.

In fairness, rattling off War and Peace on anything other than a full-size keyboard is even more of a chore than typing on the full-size keyboard, but point taken.
For those of us who don't have sports player hands, though, I wonder what Apple has in store, if anything, to address one-handed operation without things just getting weird. For the iPhone 5/5S that's a non-issue for most people. Having a "small screen" iPhone 6 option, same deal. For a screen any bigger, the screen would basically have to know that your thumb is headed for a corner of the screen (via portrait mode) that you can't possibly reach, AND work in a seamless manner with a very high accuracy rate. That would take some very impressive tech.
