You better deliver, Tim. Though iPhone 6, iPad refresh/new form factor iPad mini (maybe) is the bread and butter. iWatch and iTV, I'm still seeing more halo/sentiment than benefit to the bottom line. Looking forward to the new year in any case.

January 17 buys...pre-orders December 25. Merry Christmas.
Next quarter earnings assured....
Love this quote....read between the lines....
"Apple has enormous respect for China Mobile and we are excited to begin working together. China is an extremely important market for Apple and our partnership with China Mobile presents us the opportunity to bring iPhone to the customers of the world's largest network," said Tim Cook, Apple CEO. "iPhone customers in China are an enthusiastic and rapidly growing group, and we can't think of a better way to welcome in the Chinese New Year than getting an iPhone into the hands of every China Mobile customer who wants one."

From the NYT:
"But the company will face many challenges in capturing the Chinese market.'
Man, Chen has a huge chip on his shoulder. They don't need to "CAPTURE" the Chinese market.

There will be some lofty Q2 guidance expectations to meet. By my numbers Apple just laid out the roadmap for a 12% YOY earnings beat for q2. Guidance will reflect growth at a pace that will support a 15 P/e. Plus management just talked up 2014 to employees....

Just when I was thinking my last chance of recovering+making money on my 80 "Jan 14 600" calls slipped away last week. I still stand a chance.
Cheers and see you all when market opens.

It's quite the PR statement. Just one of the highlights, it acknowledges "homegrown" TD-LTE, while Apple helpfully points out that 5S/5C is global-ready at the same time.

There's a bit of divergence in the futures.
The site I visit has SPX up 15 basis points and the NAS-100 up more like 35.
