I am not an experienced chart guy, but I was just looking at a one-month AAPL chart and it seems to me that even an inexperienced eye can discern a very clear head and shoulders pattern... Can one of our chart gurus elaborate on what that could mean in the short, medium and long terms going forward? Bumping .. Also, Lovey has setup the AAPL technicals section. Plenty of chart talk there. As for me, the main thing I see is "lower lows". We're adrift until one of these: the next Apple PR announcement strong economic report something new from Jim Dalrymple

iPhone user-facing cost ranges from $0-$849. iPad $399-$829. What pricing dilemma?
And if iPad mini is bad, was iPod segmented as it did also bad?
One tablet does not fit all.

flirting with the 50D-MA... please hold 50 DMA is 650ish. I will be all in at that point. I've got the 50day MA and the 38.2% Fib retrace at roughly 653. Should provide excellent support there - I'd be tempted too!

664-666. interesting jump. Although I'm in the iPad Mini camp, the rumor mill seems weak. The rumor mill seems to be ramping up... Purported 'iPad mini' Parts Show Front & Back panels, LCD, Nano-SIM Tray appleinsider.com/articles/12/10/02/

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good news aggregator for Apple? I have been using Google Finance and Finviz, but neither of them seems to draw from sources that have much to offer. Google seems to favor Valuewalk which is barely English and Finviz is all Mötley Fool and WSJ. There MUST be a better source than this. any suggestions? Check out MacSurfer's Headline News: macsurfer.comIt covers all Apple news and information, not just financial news.

641/644 is the next level to watch. The market seems to want AAPL below 650 (I could easily be wrong, of course).
I don't think I'll try to catch a bottom this time around. I prefer adding when I see a recovery trend, at least for now. If I miss some gains, so be it.

Any buying here will feel like a gift in 6 months. I might open up a margin account if it dips to the 620 range.
