This is like in the war movies when the guys are in the submarine, and they're descending and the pressure gauges start to pop off the control panels. Just waitin' for this dive to be over.
Here we go again, pushing 651.

Picked up just a few Apr 13 690-715 BCS at 9.25. Put in another order at 9.1. Still holding back though in case we break 650

Redler just tweeted "AAPL 50 day is $651.76, then $644-$646."
I guess we're thru it, since we just broke into 650's.

We're getting close to the lower daily BB. Will try to allocate more cash in time if we hit it.

Seems like someone threw in the towel. Nice reversal. Hope it continues but then again we are one negative macro story away from further declines. Anyway I'm happy. Picked up a few at a good price. Got a little cash for some more if events go that way. No and then look up and contemplate that Wed morning feeling sometime around week 3 of Jan 2013, the day after earnings release.

This should be the bottom of the dip. If not, we'll see it dip lower.

Hope that 666 number works like a magnet on the way up the way it worked on the way down -- it should.

STRONG CLOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll take a "Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!" considering where we came from today. Bounced off that SMA-50 area pretty nicely. Hopefully, that's behind us, especially considering RSI and the daily MACD, which is now slopping uphill.

Bought the Freakin' Dip today, 150 shares @655, our first purchase since FEB08. Special thanks to Rupert for his daily Resistance/Support chart. Had a limit order in at 650 for a couple weeks; when AAPL dipped below 660, I noted the support at 601 and change for both the Fib and Pivot Point numbers, so upped the limit to 655, not wanting to cut it too close. Would have missed it by less than a buck otherwise.
Who knows, could be one more dip tomorrow, but I am glad to have caught it today.
EDIT: corrected "resistance" to "support"

Anxious to hear the TA'ers tonight. 50DMA / 38.2% Fib retrace held tough... so far. I'm really looking forward to the next 3 weeks short term. Gut is telling me we survived, but my gut is really dumb sometimes...

Well, 660 held, so to speak. Perhaps - unlike yesterday - the lemmings got the "buy puts on the dip" message the EO's were sending. One can only hope.

If PED is correct about Oct 10 iPad Mini invite, the timing gets interesting. Assuming an Oct 10th invite and an October 17, announcement that means a week before the financial call everyone is fully aware of Apple's newest product. Ths means guidance will include Apple's best guess for the iPhone 5, the iPad AND the iPad Mini (plus anything else they announce). Guidance, even with Apple's usual sandbagging, could be a shocking number. We could get a $9.50 quarter and a $19.00 guidance. This may be the one time to be fully loaded on the news not the rumor. Just sayin'! No, we won't. An iPad mini will be accretive to iPad sales, but at a lower price point. I don't see enough interest in the smaller form factor to indicate a strong increase in revenue/earnings. I remain highly skeptical of an iPad mini announcement, ever.

I'm very encouraged by the end of day run up. As soon as AAPL entered $650 territory it started to rebound, Closing up $10 off of intraday low. Volume during last hour was higher as well.
