So is it gap and go to 675? And then reassess?

STRONG CLOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes indeed. Sharp move up on stronger than usual intraday volume. Today's volume ended up ~10% over Friday and Monday volume. I like what I see.

Noticed this little overlooked gem on my Twitter feed: Just in case you were wondering if it were possible to be more subtle than a monosyllabic answer.

IMO we have to break through 680 and close above it to get back to an uptrend.

You know, I've been thinking the same thing about rumor confirmation subtlety since "Oh that Gruber is a smart fellow".
Dalrymple just needs a meatball over the plate - a date/time/schedule from a known rumor source - for the finishing touch.

Because after we corrected from the ATH of 705, the stock tried to climb backup and found resistance twice (9/27 and 9/28) around 681. So I think if we break through that and close above it, we could get another big leg up. Just my 2 cents.

Sooo, I have the iPhone5 and have been pondering how freaking cool new iPad form factor would be if replicated the same materials and form.
- - - Wonder if others here have thought maybe the same ??
BTW - the new phone seems somewhat tame and evolutionary out of the box - then after about 24 hours of use and in typical AAPL fashion - your old 4 phone seems heavy, slow, dumb and just not nearly as cool in comparison

For anyone with mediocre TA skills who has been on the fence about a bullish cross subscription, it's days like today that are particularly fascinating to follow over there.

Couldn't agree more and the voice recognition and speed is absolutely amazing. It really is cool.

I would pay $2K a year for Zaky to take my investment capital and invest it while I relax on the sidelines. Then again, this is a hobby for me and I'd miss all the bantering that goes in here..

I wouldn't. Putting your entire investment portfolio under management by one individual is just too risky, no matter how much of a genius he happens to look like right now. Many people have been ruined financially by doing exactly that.

No. I don't think they will make one this year. Next year maybe. The touch is too close in price and I don't think Apple needs to compete with the Fire and lower margins. Can they sell one to schools and price sensative folks? You bet. Give it at least 12 more months.

I would love to get a subscription, but as a recently graduated student, the yearly fees would cover about 10% of my portfolio. That's too much for me, even if it is great advice.

Thank you for the response. Makes sense to me. Oh thank you - that's the first time I make sense to someone .. ;D Well I do see technical analysts drawing resistance and support lines across multiple highs and lows respectively and I'd bet if you manipulate Fibinacci (sp?) lines enough one of the retracement lines would be in the $680 area.

But I'm big on self-directed investments, though I do have a little bit of money management here and there.

Easier said than done. Fibs are all about proportions. Kinda analogous to the size of someone's hand in proportion to an arm, or just a forearm, or even a face, or feet, etc. No matter how you slice and dice, a move will still be proportionate with other moves, so you're looking for areas of confluence -- levels that show up using multiple start/end points.
