The bar is open!
Kind of a weird day to end a very solid week for AAPL. Despite the Ukraine news being the ostensible reason for the mid-morning market slump, I found news about Ferguson, MO to be much more prevalent during the day.
The rumor mill is getting hot and heavy. Should be quite a show between now and September 9.

iPhone 6 should be a very good to excellent smartphone given past history. That'll be a good building block for AAPL the rest of the year and beyond.

Now that we have recovered from the effects of a previous transgression and 100 is in sight, let me remind you of the consistent correlation between mentions of you-know-what and the stock price. Can we agree on say 120 as a fair target and keep a lid on it until then?

Just revealed today at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the 986 HP McLaren P1 GTR: $3.3M US. So basically, only Nagrani can afford it.

Of course, Jay Leno would be there, checking out the McLaren. For myself, I prefer the 918. It can't be helped.

Of course, Jay Leno would be there, checking out the McLaren. For myself, I prefer the 918. It can't be helped. Jay bought one of the first P1's (a mere 903 HP). I wonder if Jay was feeling a little obsolete-by-update pain seeing the GTR version unveiled. Jay has hundreds of cars, including two other McLarens, and said the P1 was the most amazing car he's ever driven. For non car people, it's hard to explain how amazing a sub-10 second 1/4 mile factory street car is, let alone one with the P1's manners, handling, features, and accoutrements. Chris Harris preferred the P1 to the 918, and he's tracked both. Pretty sick video of him tracking the P1 in Abu Dhabi. I would of course slum it and take a 918 if offered to me by my supermodel GF. Both cars show the potential of hybrid technology on an AWD car. 600 HP...oh, wait, here's 300 more. Unfortunately, it's going to be a long time before that tech scales down to affordability for anyone who doesn't host The Tonight Show or is part or a member of an OPEC royal family. So yeah, talking about $3M cars none of us can possibly afford doesn't count as car talk.

Here's how Apple's stock could rise 50%finance.yahoo.com/blogs/talking-numbers/here-s-how-apple-s-stock-could-rise-50-195316634.htmlIn the Talking Numbers - CNBC Yahoo Finance article they talk about AAPL outperforming the S&P YTD and say: “That kind of outperformance could actually continue especially if we see the stock get above final resistance which is right above $100,” Stockton said, looking at a nine-year chart of Apple. “A breakout above that level and you could arrive at technical target of about $144 which would obviously be a very impressive upside with a very long-term time horizon.” Wondering how they arrive at $144, any chart guys care to help me understand? Are they just drawing a trendline from 2005-2014 along the highs and what could the vague "very long-term time horizon" be? FYI: I'm long since 2006 and not looking to sell any shares Thanks

Does Leno have an F1? In my mind that is still the most desirable car since the 1966 Lamborghini Muira.
