Bar is open and the week of reckoning is upon us ... has every single little thing been leaked out already or could we possibly have one more thing?

The surprises will be in the details (basically, no one really "knows" much beyond 1 or 2 BigPhones, payments, NFC, wearable that people think is a watch).
So, all kinds of stuff (including pricing) to look forward to.

CNBC's worst ratings since 1993. How's that trot-out-the-AAPL-bear programming strategy working for ya? Ha ha ha, dickheads!

Several articles relating to Apple's massive fall lineup reportedly causing shipping delays for other manufacturers. Here's one from AppleInsider. More than one way to sink Samsung's boat. There's an old retail adage, "you can't sell what's not on the shelves." Still applicable in the internet age.

Speaking of Samsung, I wouldn't put it past them to orchestrate the supposedly hacked iCloud accounts to put Apple in a negative light prior to the upcoming event. It wouldn't be the first time they've manipulated reality. . . . or perhaps I just need my tin foil hat adjusted.

The speculation is that Apple announced the hiring of Marc prior to iWatch's debut, because he had a role in its design. Intriguing. It turns out I even own a couple of things he designed, as sold through Alessi.

When you step back a bit and look at the last week from a distance , the timing may have been good. We were getting very third and likely needed a bit of a pullback. We got that and got the bit of bad news out and over with ahead of the announcements comming next week.
The news cycle moves so fast that this should be plenty of time to put it well behind us and move forward. I suspect Cook will devote a moment or two to necked Jennifer gate and point out that they removed the ability to make mult. Password guesses and that the cloud wasn't hacked. If he was smart he would tie that in with the fingerprint tech. Going to all devices . He will then move on and hopefully blow us all away with some great new products and services.
Still think we are setting things up for the mother of all quarterly earnings reports in jan. Will likely set a record for all companies.

I don't have any expectations that Apple will be entering the apparel business. If "wearables" really is the next big thing then I do expect to find their tech embedded in just about everyone else's. Historically that's shown on the runaway. Given that Apple usually doesn't seem particularly bound by tradition, if they do go down this road I'm suspicious it will have a bit of it's tongue planted firmly in cheek.

Honestly, this superstitious crap is rather silly. My bullishness is firmly grounded in Jonny's ability to deliver stellar design and Tim's ability to deliver. Posting Jonny's Bentley here wouldn't change any of that. Just sayin.

Anyone else get an e-mail from "Apple" like this? As we strive to secure your account, please be informed to integrate to our latest security platform today. Apple Support ================================================================= Update: OMG. This is the e-mail address that came up when I clicked "Respond": apple@appleid.apple.com When I clicked on the "Integration Page" link I got this: And the URL for the "Integration Page" is: seketalnadama.com/webupdate/ficate/o.htmYep. Looks legit. NOT!! Update #2 - When I clicked on the "Validated And Integrate Here", with blank fields naturally, I was taken to the iCloud page where I had logged in previously. The person or persons responsible for this are certainly not well versed in the English language, but I'm sure some initially skeptical people will be fooled by the move to iCloud, not realizing the programers would design the page so that blank fields would cause that redirection.
