I believe yesterday's OI @ $120 was ~ 124,000, so there were some owners exercising. It will take a lot to dismantle the call walls.

That glass staircase is not to be sniffed at either, the glass doesn't touch the wall!. . . the treads of the glass staircases on either side of the space are held in place by a discreet bolt, embedded into the glass to give the impression of floating glass steps . . .

Vanguard is known for their passive approach with their total market and broad market funds. State Street's big products are SPDRs and SPY. BlackRock are the iShares people. They're increasing exposure to Apple only because Apple's market cap is growing relative to the market. I don't know about the others raising their stakes.

It's his description of a trading pattern, Mercel's intentional inaccuracy aside. Scott was also a music promoter in his younger days, so may partly explain the gimmicky name. Call it potential intraday momentum trading signal (either upside or downside) basically.
Articles of the day to avoid; USA Today P/E boogeyman, Bloomberg View deal with "forced labor" in the title

Red Poodle Siesta: When one squiggly line crosses another squiggly line one can see a "Red Poodle Siesta" pattern forming. This pattern indicates a drop in stock price and sentiment although just as often this means a rise in stock price and sentiment. I'm no expert but at the end of the day I believe I can successfully predict what kind of Red Poodle Siesta event we had .... I'll check back around 1:05 Pacific with the answer. Cheers to the longs !

The original WSJ story is behind a pay wall, but this summary by appleinsider should be enough to validate your suspicion that Michael Bromwich and his patron Judge Denise Cote are total scumbags.

Mace - what's the latest EW count?!? Just as an FYI - over at EWT there are some really great folks. You need to cut the wheat from the chaff just like anywhere else but there is one outstanding person who has been so right. He believes we're still in wave (iii) of [5] but things seem very unclear to most folks there - nothing seems to fit the waves perfectly - nothing seems to behave the way it should. So the next fib target would be $131.38, which is the 1.764x, and if the price goes past that, then the 2.0x at $138.84. That is probably where wave (iii) will end, before a significant wave (iv) starts. Another feels the target is $135 from here ... and he has also been spot on as well. It seems to me we are probably headed to the mid 130's before any reassessment is done. What say you Mace? phoebear, Those guys at EWT are good. Above $129.31 means can go much higher before a multi-week correction.

Maybe we should bring in Bob to ban Mercel. I wonder if he could do it in less than 10,000 words.
Anyway, please alert me to when AAPL forms a HumaniCantilever.

I believe this is a bump from the FED minutes release...
Surprised by how well AAPL is holding at highs. Feels overextended, yet it's not selling off. Very bullish.

I can't claim credit. Someone else noticed the correlation first.
