I think Apple is going to bring a very rich but minimalistic user interface to the Apple car, whether digitally or mechanically, and that's what I'm so excited about.
I hope Apple is checking the background of the new hires carefully because the automotive industry is big and there are very powerful players out there.

I hope Apple is checking the background of the new hires carefully because the automotive industry is big and there are very powerful players out there. This is a good point and I see other possible pitfalls. Apple got lucky and was able to make lemonade with the lemons that the Arizona facility became after GTAT, but a car effort will take many more big bucks to get off the ground, and we don't want to see any more failures on Apple's part, like, say, not doing enough DD with a major new supplier in a field they're unfamiliar with and having the company sputter out. In short, Tim best be careful to avoid any skid marks in his big boy pants...

The strong price action despite monthly options expiration and max pain is a very good harbinger for next week. Picked up some Aprils toward the end of the day.

Screw the car ... watch ... tv...whatever. Can anyone come up with a longer battery life? THAT is the Holy Grail! Batteries are old school! I have it on pretty good authority that they are secretly working on a new 426 Hamster Cuda! Well Jony has a history of working with hamsters: From The New Yorker: "Michael Ive said that the scale of his son’s talent manifested itself in childhood. He recalled an ingenious obstacle course, in wood and cardboard, for a pet hamster..."

Gotta love that action seconds before the close. Seemed like a lot of people waiting for the OpEx dip that never came, and in the last seconds were listening to AAPL longs yelling, "hurry, run and catch the train before it leaves the station and hits 300MPH on Monday, run, jump, you can make it."

Holy snarky, Batman! 906.50 - time for a trip to Las Vegas.
I still think Apple could put sensors and other enhancements (bigger battery) into wrist straps that uplink to the watch inside the connection clip. Maybe v2.0.

GS - crap! They are the kiss of death Well, PED wrote today that GS was the third largest seller of AAPL last quarter, more than 11 million shares, so there does appear to be some confusion over there.

Increasing your target price and telling clients to buy while you are selling? Isn't that illegal? Who would do such a thing? Blodget? Anyone?
