You know it's a slow day when one of the West Coast members opens the thread (thanks, Red)! Hope Since84 is OK, wherever he is. 130 likely pin I believe. Prescient call; looking like a tractor beam right now. So last month Ericsson reported a 29.3% decline YoY for the quarter, attributed to reduced business activity in North America. Now, they suddenly file a suit looking to block iPhone sales in the USA. Where is JD for a bit of scathing "patent troll" commentary when we need him?

Pin action that compresses the spring for Monday, perhaps?
Ericsson is not a patent troll, as it has viable IP. Apple wants to renegotiate the renewal and Ericsson liked the old terms. I believe FRAND comes into play here, but I'll defer to the legal beagles.
Approx. 185k call contracts (the bulk of them) will expire worthless today. Where do the weekly players get their gambling money?

Not being a member of the Patent Bar, I'll just ask, "Ericsson is still a thing?"
OpEx day, gloomy and gray. Even in SoCal.
AAPL long and prosper.

MACD-h on the daily chart is about to cross into negative territory. I'm prepping to BTFD before AAPL resumes the Power Move UP!

Weekly doji spinning top Breaking 10dma Daily MACD cross on deck
Few weeks of rest or consolidation or pullback seems very likely
Next few days will serve to confirm this hypothesis

I BTFD.
GOOG is green and AAPL is red. Yep, the market is efficient. I'm fairly confident AAPL will March soon into next month. I don't have many Julys left....just leaps.

I don't have many Julys left... C'mon Mercel, we're all a little down and sensing our mortality with the passing of Mr. Spock, but I'm sure you still have a few good years ahead of you.

Short but interesting comments about the Apple watch's place in the fashion world. I appreciated that the anti-Apple trolls weren't all over the comment section. I especially appreciated this comment: kent909 02/27/2015 10:21 AM I find it amusing that people stopped wearing watches because they had a phone in their pocket and that the company that sold us millions of smart phones is now going to replace that watch that we stopped wearing because of the phone that they sold us. It's shiny, I want it.

I'm getting excited about Apple Watch. The price points will be VERY interesting, both to the success and initial reception to the May 9th event.
Ok, I'm getting a 42mm Stainless with black band/classic buckle. Red wants the 38mm Watch Edition (Rose Gold) with Bright Red Band.

I like it! A car FOB app on your Apple Watch. Not so "new", I think Tesla's are unlocked using ones phone. And the charging port is also opened using your mobile phone.

The Commodore told me you wear a pebble watch...

Just thinking out loud. If Apple is releasing iOS 8.2 at the March 9th event, with watch support, and an expected release 30 days later, wouldn't it be smart to allow iOS developers access to the hardware before launch? So, if you are a registered iOS developer on March 9th, you will be able to order a development unit early. The Apple site (http://www.apple.com/about/job-creation/) number 380,000 paid iOS developers. Apple probably has that many already on the shelf. Even if every single one decided to buy the watch, pushing out that few units could happen in a couple of days. A programming simulator can only get you so far. There are wireless handshake issues to iron out, at a minimum. Think different.

I thought Car Talk in 2012 "caused" AAPL to...never mind... Just thinking out loud. There are wireless handshake issues to iron out, at a minimum. Think different. About that, it's apparently a thing that happened, though not in terms actual dev kits as was the case of Mac Pro Gen 1. So, IF there's "legit" reports of similar in the future, stuff like the March 9 keynote may be why... www.macrumors.com/2015/02/16/apple-finalizing-watchkit-apps/
