I'm growing weary drawing blank looks by staff if I can use Apple Pay at big name merchants. Adding Discover is window dressing until merchants step up and start accepting Apple Pay.

It's amazing to me how many times the unwashed masses have said "but that's not very secure" in reference to using the phone or watch to pay. Sheesh! They I ask, "how secure is it when Skippy the waiter takes your card in the back to scan it?" Silence.
Most of the merchant problems are them wanting to use competing systems. Hopefully, security, ease of use and large numbers of good clients (Apple users) will win out. Frustrating.
Finally got my CC dinged last night on watch #2. Wife absolutely loves hers. Over 55% charge left after a day of moderate use. Gonna be huge.

Early, interesting AAPL action on day of earnings. Last earnings days in January, AAPL shrank $4

"Needless to say, not everyone is bullish. BGC analyst Colin Gillis, who maintains a "hold" rating on the stock, wrote that while investors are getting enthusiastic about Amazon's cloud business, "the core business is unprofitable," and far too much hope is currently priced into the name" I betcha  will make more profit from the WATCH (JUST 422,000 DELIVERED in the first 2 days?) than AMZN will make in cloud ($265 million in the last quarter)
What a world!

Early, interesting AAPL action on day of earnings. Last earnings days in January, AAPL shrank $4 Yeah, but wasn't the Divy quarter. Look at the Daily chart from a year ago. Almost an exact repeat.

Already noticing a huge difference at work, where I just have to glance at my Watch to see where AAPL is. Phone stays in pocket much more often. So much more convenient.

If I can get the AAPL ticker on my watch I might have to buy an Apple Watch. That would be a game changer for me.

It's that Monday Pop trade guys. It's been fairy consistent this year Yep. Monday is Apple day. Today's pop bodes well for the stock especially if it falls after-hours for whatever reason. If we close at this level, the max I see it falling to is 125-122. That is better than closing in the 128-129 range and falling to 118 AH because anything under 120 will make the stock look weak. That being said, I feel confident that we will rise and shine after ER. There are a lot of current and upcoming positive factors to make the stock look even more attractive. I've BTFD so much so many times in the recent past and am wishing that we all fly high today. Good luck to all!

Does AAPL display in one of the corners of the Watch face or are you using the stock app? There are a couple of faces where it allows you to display it right on the face - utility, modular and Mickey. As simple as looking at the watch and seeing the quote right at the bottom.

I am pretty optimistic about Apple over the next 6 months. One possibility that I have not heard much discussion about is a 2:1 split. Apple used to split the stock to keep it under 100. When they did the 7:1, it put the stock at about 60. Does anyone think there is a possibility that we will see a 2:1 split today? I understand the arguments about how a split doesn't change anything, but I have a feeling that a split now would put us at 100 post split before the end of the year

Last split put us at $92 and change IIRC.
