I apologize to the board if my "Queue J.D. in 5..." post was perceived as goading. Damn! The English guy inside of me was hoping you were apologizing for spelling "cue", "queue"...

Tomorrow will be interesting to watch. As Phoebes noted on her Apple Watch earlier, big money heads to the Hamptons (or Fire Island) early...the machines will be pinging each other from about 11:00 Eastern Time on.
Now, if Apple has a really strong first hour and gets through resistance, might the alghos support a move further even on low volume?
Hmmm.

The indices SEEM poised for a big break out to the upside with this very tight price consolidation basically at all time highs. Will we see a nice multi week trend emerge? My hope would be robot pinging new highs getting late money chasing after next week. Either way have a great memorial weekend everyone. AAPL 4EVER

If enterprise IT depts. still haven't figured out that Android phones are leaky buckets and totally unworthy . . .
arstechnica.com/security/2015/05/flawed-android-factory-reset-leaves-crypto-and-login-keys-ripe-for-picking/
"An estimated 500 million Android phones don't completely wipe data when their factory reset option is run, a weakness that may allow the recovery of login credentials, text messages, e-mails, and contacts, computer scientists said Thursday.
In the first comprehensive study of the effectiveness of the Android feature, Cambridge University researchers found that they were able to recover data on a wide range of devices that had run factory reset. The function, which is built into Google's Android mobile operating system, is considered a crucial means for wiping confidential data off of devices before they're sold, recycled, or otherwise retired. The study found that data could be recovered even when users turned on full-disk encryption.
Based on the devices studied, the researchers estimated that 500 million devices may not fully wipe disk partitions where sensitive data is stored and 630 million phones may not wipe internal SD cards where pictures and video are often kept. The findings, published in a research paper titled Security Analysis of Android Factory Resets, are sure to be a wake-up call for individual users and large enterprises alike."

You would have thought this from early 2014 told them everything they needed to know...,but...,noooooooooo!

You would have thought this from early 2014 told them everything they needed to know...,but...,noooooooooo! The "attack because they have more market share" has been said about Macs vs. PCs forever. There are so many more Macs out there than when this argument first started. Surely there's enough critical mass to make it "worthwhile" no? Still nothing 30 years later. How many hundreds of millions of iOS devices does someone need to justify an attack? BS argument. Red makes a good point about the "freelance" economy. I've been self employed for 18 years and I'm lucky if I get 1099s for 3 out of every 20 clients I deal with. Lots of invisible workers out there these days.

P.S. Somehow I can't picture you as a gold and guns guy. Just sayin. Uh, I've been shooting since my dad first took me at 10, and I've been handloading ammo, including bullet casting, since college. Can't wait to set up my reloading press when I buy my new place (is house talk banned here too?). But first, need to find the perfect house. And workbench. Smaller call wall @ 130, what with the puts up to 77K. But as Phobes said, liquidity will be taking an early weekend. As for myself, already shopping for steaks to grill...

Once again I didn't explain my thought quite so well. Probably should have said something along the lines of...,just can't see you sitting in a shack in the hills of Montana, bullion stored in the cellar and a sawed off to keep you company. We're still holed up in Key West waiting for a landscape architect to finish prelims that we find acceptable. I'm going to try designing from the outside in for a change. Ordered a new car the other day. Could be a candidate for double secret probation.

Well, that's not my default mode. Let's call it "Plan B." And shotguns are useless outside the home, unless it's for hunting ducks, or you have it loaded with rifled slugs and want to make a serious point with a bear. I will be ready. When the shit hits the fan, you're welcome to come over, if you bring IPAs, ammo, fuel, or ladies.

Nice close. Now the question is have we broken out of the range? I took profits today at $131.49... Expecting that low volume tomorrow won't be sufficient to offset the higher ratios of calls to puts at $130 and above, though I don't expect much of a drop below $130 for very long... I'm buying there if the opportunity presents.

I have all the ammo and guns we will need but if I have to bring women I will probably have to use all the ammo to get them in the vehicle. As far as fuel is concerned I know where there are some very large storage tanks, but again I would have to use all my ammo to fight my way in. Can I just bring ammo and IPAs as I have plenty of both thanks to you? I didn't even like IPAs until you kept talking about them and now I am hooked but I can't handle more than 2 at a time so I wouldn't drink up the supply. Seriously there is a lot of noise about a SHTF scenario coming but personally I can't handle the survival food so I guess I will just set on the front porch and watch. That steak you mentioned sure sounds good though.
