Still finding Apple Music to be a confusing mess. I have songs and albums that I know I have told the app to make available off line. On a flight yesterday, and many of those pieces do not have the little iPhone icon beside them. So they are not really there right? Wrong. I go to play them and they play. In airplane mode, which means I have no network, so they cannot be streaming. I have Apple Music set to not use cellular, because I don't want my data plan being used up inadvertently.
The plane lands, and I take my phone out of airplane mode. The song that was playing in airplane mode, now stops and refuses to play. So the song is there, but the app doesn't know it is. This has happened with numerous songs and albums. I consider myself to be quite tech savvy, but the behaviour of this app and associated service has me baffled and frustrated.

Just went to the new website for Apple. I was curious how much Beats Solo 2 cost .... good luck finding them ! Had to use the search function. I don't know who's behind the redesign but between that and Apple Music I'm really stumped at what the hell is going on there Very non-intuitive looking interfaces for both. Maybe it's just me .... go look at the site and report back ! Cheers to the longs

The Music page needs subheadings (like on the iPhone page and others) for Headphones & Speakers so they're easier to find. Other than that the site looks great after a quick look at it. If you were on the Apple board, what would you do to try to get the stock to reflect the PE it deserves? Is there anything the company could do to make AAPL stock more fairly valued? Discuss...

IBM Rolls Out Enterprise Mac Services for Corporate IT BY JASON VERGE ON AUGUST 7, 2015 IBM is helping invite Macs to the enterprise party. Its new cloud-based IT services help quickly and securely integrate Apple’s Mac computers at scale with enterprise systems and applications. IBM has provided these services on a custom basis but is now commercializing the service through IBM MobileFire Managed Mobility Services. More companies are adopting or allowing the use of Macs by employees, and Macs have outgrown the PC industry every year for the last decade, according to IBM. The service also supports a mix of PC and Macs and also helps the enterprise extend to other iOS devices like iPads and iPhones. While Macs have seen a ton of commercial usage, its enterprise game is nowhere near as strong. However, the cordoned-off, vanilla enterprise is on its way out with more devices and platforms coming into the mix. Sometimes this occurs outside of policy, and it can be an integration nightmare for the IT organization. Mobility services has been a major focal point for IBM in order to help evolve enterprise security approaches beyond the traditional enterprise walls and for the hyperconnected but heterogeneous world. The service could boost enterprise Mac usage by simple virtue of making it easy to use Macs in a business setting. The service allows clients to order Macs and have them delivered directly to employees without additional setup, imaging or configuration. Employees have quick and easy secure access to connect to email and download business applications. IBM gained experience through its internal Mac@IBM program, which saw the company distributing Macs to employees around the globe while keeping it a secure enterprise environment. An Apple partnership presented an opportunity for a commercialized offering, according to the company. The service features the Casper Suite from JAMF and IBM’s enterprise integration and support services. “Today’s announcement is a powerful testament to the growing demand for Apple technology in the enterprise and to the strong relationship between IBM and JAMF to help organizations inventory, deploy and secure their Apple devices,” said Dean Hager, CEO, JAMF Software, in a press release. IBM can now help support customers with diverse systems across Windows, Linux, AIX, zOS, iOS, Android, and now also OS X. If I were in charge I would not worry so much about stock price. If anything I would be happy with a low p/e. I need more time to get more cash to buy back as much as possible. I can save billions looking into the future on dividends. Then when I buy back half the company, I can shock my shareholders by doubling the dividend every few years.

I don't understand the angst about the changes to the Apple website; I always thought it strange that the store was a subcategory within the site. Now it is integrated with deeper information about the products.

The Apple website was LONG OVERDUE to eliminate the extra tab to buy something. Integration is good. I understand Apple may have ditched WebObjects in the process. I approve of the changes. Apple's website has never looked better.

Apple TV doesn't belong to any of the tab... can only be found at the bottom of the page with many broken links.

Consolidation - looks like a descending triangle that could break to downside and test 10x next week. Having said that - Still under a 30 RSI on 14 day (entering day 5) which is like a coiled spring ready to launch. Could go either way.

In any case, whenever is so oversold, it would re-bounce to 20-day SMA... after that is either way.

Mace, you are the real deal - I'm just a home-gamer but I see a descending triangle / Bear flag

Mace, you are the real deal - I'm just a home-gamer but I see a descending triangle / Bear flag I see you're referring to 1-minute timeframe. Triangular bear flag would be wave four follows with a capitulating fifth wave (down) before a big recovery... I guess is possible... should that happen we need to see a bullish divergence registered in RSI and stochastic.

What ever happens we need to get back to the 200 MA and hold it. Once we break it, we should keep movin up and get back over 125. I think the new IPhones should do the trick. One more month. If we get 13 million in first weekend sales, then 135 would be our next target to conquer and hold. Two months for that level. That would end our 8 month drought.
