Is the stream dropping for anyone else? I've lost it twice. Refreshing the page brings it back...

Stream has been dropping at least 4 times. Probably depends on your location, where you're getting the stream from--has been perfect for me.

Why would I care how think the iMac is? Lightness helps with moving it, but thinness? On something that's just going to sit on my desk?

Why don't you just use an old 3 ft. deep monitor from 1995 then?

Fusion Drive ?? This is the dream Mac. I thought there was no easy way to improve the iMac. Only partially true. The engineers astound us.

New iMac is slick. I don't know if I can convince myself to stray from a laptop though.

$ 1299 FOR THE INTRO IMAC OK, kind of interesting, I saw your post about 2 minutes before my stream reached that point in the presentation...

84.126M in the previous quarters, so yes, 16M. I was expecting 20.3M

Ouch. iPad 3 - limited edition owner.
Meet iPad 4...
I suppose iPad is now an October deal...unless Apple is really trying to reengineer the iPad every 6 months or so, like Macs...used to be...so I'm thinking no.

Why don't you just use an old 3 ft. deep monitor from 1995 then? What monitor were you using in 1995? Even then my 17 and 21 inch CRTs were less than 2 feet deep. But we're not comparing that to this. We've comparing today's to yesterday's. With the stand back there, and the plugs, you're not saving useable desk space, being able to put it a half inch closer to a wall. I guess it all just depends on what you want to spend your money on, and what you want Apple to spend their engineering resources on. I'd rather have something else (extra HD bay, larger heatsinks so fewer iMac video cards and motherboards dying, or even a couple ports on the side of the iMac instead of the back) than a thinner iMac.
