Not much in the way of news so far this morning: BBC claiming 2016 will be the year of focused cyberattacks on iOS: www.bbc.com/news/technology-35070853The regurgitation of articles about the "abomination of the look" of the new battery case is ubiquitous. Calling it a "design mistake" and assuring folks that in no way will Jony Ive be lending his voice to any video about it. Lastly, several articles on speculation on what the iPhone 7 may look like (thinner in 2016 - like me, I hope) and perhaps a new iWatch version coming in Spring of 2016....which brings a question to mind. What do we do with the watches we have? Will they have a trade-in program or will we get hosed? Do you think there will be an after-market like the iPhones and other Apple products have? Yes, right? Thoughts? Again, that's assuming the speculation is correct. Enjoy your weekend!

In terms of trade-in for watch, it's the same as iPad same as Mac same as every other apple product except iPhone: sell your old version on eBay or Gazelle if you wish, and it will retain a good deal of its value. The only reason iPhone has more trade-in options than that is because of carriers trying to sweeten the deal. Why watch was thought to need a new trade in / trade up program was always a mystery to me. All tech obsoletes itself... Apple tech retains more of its value than most. No surprises there.

My understanding is that Apple will offer battery trade in program. I see the first generation becoming a collectors item.
Other then speed, I love my Apple Watch. I already have two people interested in buying mine knowing I may upgrade next year. I have no intention in upgrading.
I think version 3 will have enough new features that I will no longer be able to resist temptation. But I will always hang on to version 1.

I think that speculation was based on the price of the Edition versions. Someone concerned with staus might not be willing to pay a high price for last years fashion. But what do I know about fashion? I am still wearing suits I bought 20 years ago

Thanks for posting. I wish there was a way to graph this against AAPL price over time.

This is what happens when people aren't held accountable the first time around. That being said - let's be clear that this is no where near an '08 - banks are extremely well capitalized and we are not in that situation at all. Can we be in some other type of crisis or issue - shit yeah! This is what happens when the tide goes out...we get to see who has been swimming with no bathing suits!

Tell me, what percentage of Zero Hedge "OMG THE SKY IS FALLING" articles have been published in the last 7+ years and how many have come true?
