Not a bad pullback following last week's remarkable run. Technical folks seem to have signs that caution (or opportunity?) may be the program for the next few weeks. 4Q Earnings Report figures to be the next benchmark. Will the surprising (?) success of the iPhone 7 in the final weeks of the quarter offset what may very well be otherwise fairly weak results (for Apple; almost any other company would be overjoyed to match them)?
Oh well, the Red Sox have put on a late season surge to set up what should be an exciting post-season, and the Patriots sans Brady have shown astounding resiliency, so spirits are high here in New England.
All in all, September "been berry, berry good" in our household.

It is what it is, and we all know the game we're choosing to play in, but it's really shocking how such blatant manipulation can go on for so many years without repercussions.

We need far tighter controls on Wall Street, with severe punishment for intentional fraudulent information. This manipulation has become pervasive.

It's interesting that the main stream financial media has ignored this story. Except for the Forbes piece, I have seen nothing. Everyone reported the GfK story but no one bothered to do the simplest due diligence.

I was at the Glendale Galleria yesterday , home to the first Apple store ever, and watched a line forming at the front. People who asked about iPhone 7 availability were being directed to the gentleman at the front of the store so I found a spot next to him and kept my ears open. Every person was told the same thing , "there are no iPhones available for purchase" and were instructed to go online and place an order. He said the store gets some in every morning so you could come back and line up but they sell out very quickly, in particular the 7+ seems to be a big hit as well as the 7 in shiny black.
The whole store was actually pretty crowded and from what I could tell, demand for the iPhone 7 seems real. I've also had several people tell me they are upgrading from pretty old phones so I think the theory that those who skipped the 6 and are holding any variant pre-6 are upgrading in mass.
I'm betting Apple will show growth in iPhone once again , it may not be double digits but growth is still a very positive sign. In addition, the revenue stream at Apple keeps growing and is quietly turning into a monster of a company on it's own. I feel optimistic about the company, not as optimistic about the actual stock but as a long time AAPL investor ..... I'm used to it.
Cheers to the longs.

Can I use the speakers and Express to stream my iTunes library or just play music that is on my phone If the M-Audio speakers are self-powered, yes, you can. If the M-Audio speakers have an optical input, get and use the appropriate optical cable ("TOSlink") to connect the Airport Express to the speakers. Otherwise, just use an ordinary stereo analog cable.

I stream my iTunes library over this setup as well. Works fine.

I plugged the speakers into the Express but it won't connect to my network. Any ideas on how to make the connection. The light is amber not green.
