Naturally, new iMacs get the win. Shipping dates are at 3-4 weeks for 27" model. Say hello to higher ASP. Some users will want to get additional speakers for bass performance. store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_mac/family/imacFusion and flash drives ? The wave of the future. Be careful on ordering online. There's a lot of options I prefer wired keyboard and magic trackpad, but the defaults are wireless keyboard and magic mouse.

Did you order ? It seems that if you change the defaults it ups the delivery time. Actually, I got order confirmation fast at midnight 12/01 with a delivery date between 12/6-10 and it changed to 12/11-13 late yesterday. I ordered the 2.9 ghz 21".
a few weeks ago I upgraded from the Logitech Z-4 to their Z623 which has a big sound for not a lot of $.
if anyone manages to get their hands on a new iMac in the next few days please share your excitement with us and lots of details!

No, I didn't order at this time. The last times that I ordered a product within 6 weeks of release was the original iPhone in summer 2007 and 17" G4 iMac in February 2002.
