"Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-SC, sent a letter Tuesday asking Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell and Attorney General William Barr to reveal any names, in addition to Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, whose identities were ‘unmasked’ by former Obama administration officials.
“Given this extensive list of officials making frequent requests to unmask General Flynn’s identity, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) sent a letter to Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Richard Grenell and Attorney General (AG) William Barr to ask that the Committee be provided with the names of any official who made a request to unmask the identity of individuals associated with the Trump campaign or transition team,” Graham wrote."

Former British spy Christopher Steele peddled an unfounded rumor in December 2016 that Michael Flynn had an extramarital affair with a Russian woman, according to documents released earlier in May. Months before Steele discussed Flynn, the FBI offered to pay the ex-spy to collect intelligence on Flynn and other Trump associates who were the targets of a counterintelligence investigation. An FBI source provided information about Flynn that matches what Steele provided the bureau, an FBI memo from early 2017 also said. Rumors about Flynn and a Russian-British woman, Svetlana Lokhova, began circulating in the media in March 2017. An FBI offer to pay former British spy Christopher Steele to collect intelligence on Michael Flynn in the weeks before the 2016 election has been one of the more overlooked revelations in a Justice Department inspector general’s report released in December.
The reference to the FBI proposal, which was made in an Oct. 3, 2016, meeting in an unidentified European city, has received virtually no press attention. But it might have new significance following the recent release of government documents that show that Steele peddled an unfounded rumor that Flynn had an extramarital affair with a Russian woman in the United Kingdom.
It is not clear how and when Steele came across the rumor, or if it was the result of the FBI asking him to look into Flynn. (RELATED: Dossier Author Told John McCain Aide Of Unfounded Michael Flynn Affair Rumor)
The inspector general’s report, released on Dec. 9, 2019, said that FBI agents offered to pay Steele “significantly” to collect intelligence from three separate “buckets” that the bureau was pursuing as part of Crossfire Hurricane, its counterintelligence probe of four Trump campaign associates.
One bucket was “Additional intelligence/reporting on specific, named individuals (such as [Carter Page] or [Flynn]) involved in facilitating the Trump campaign-Russian relationship,” the IG report stated.
FBI agents also sought contact with “any individuals or sub sources” who Steele could provide to “serve as cooperating witnesses to assist in identifying persons involved in the Trump campaign-Russian relationship.”
Steele at the time had provided the FBI with reports he compiled alleging that members of the Trump campaign had conspired with the Kremlin to influence the 2016 election.
An FBI agent provided Steele with a “general overview” of the ongoing Crossfire Hurricane probe, according to the IG report. The agent told Steele about the actions of George Papadopoulos, a Trump campaign aide, and said the FBI had undertaken a “small analytical effort” that centered on Paul Manafort, Carter Page and Flynn.
Some FBI agents who attended the meeting questioned whether the lead agent had disclosed too much to Steele about Crossfire Hurricane, according to the IG report.
Passage from Justice Department inspector general report on Crossfire Hurricane, Dec. 9, 2019. Steele was not previously known to have deeply investigated Flynn as part of his dirt-digging mission against the Trump campaign. The former MI6 officer compiled 17 memos that focused instead on Donald Trump, Page, Manafort and Michael Cohen, a former lawyer for Trump.
But two documents released in recent weeks raise the question of whether the FBI’s request of Steele has any link to the rumors that Flynn had an affair with a Russian woman.
One of the documents is a transcript of longtime John McCain associate David Kramer’s interview with the House Intelligence Committee. Kramer testified on Dec. 17, 2017, that Steele told him in December 2016 that he suspected that Flynn had an extramarital affair with a Russian woman.
“There was one thing he mentioned to me that is not included here, and that is he believed that Mr. Flynn had an extramarital affair with a Russian woman in the U.K.,” Kramer told lawmakers.
Kramer said that Steele conveyed that Flynn’s alleged mistress was a “Russian woman” who “may have been a dual citizen.”
An FBI memo dated Jan. 4, 2017, contained another allegation regarding Flynn and a mysterious Russian woman.
The memo, which was provided to Flynn’s lawyers on April 30, said that an FBI confidential human source (CHS) told the bureau that they were present at an event that Flynn attended while he was still working in the U.S. intelligence community.

(Photo courtesy Svetlana Lokhova) The CHS said that after dinner and drinks, Flynn “surprised” everyone by leaving in a cab with a person that the FBI source suspected had ties to Russians. (RELATED: Secret FBI Source Provided Information On Flynn Visit To U.K.)
Svetlana Lokhova, a Russian-British academic who studied at the University of Cambridge, said she is the woman at the center of the FBI memo and Kramer testimony.
Lokhova became the target of a whisper campaign in early 2017 regarding Flynn’s visit to Cambridge three years earlier, when he served as director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).
The Wall Street Journal and The Guardian reported in March 2017 that Flynn had a suspicious encounter with Lokhova that drew the attention of American and British intelligence officials.
Lokhova has vehemently denied allegations of wrongdoing. She has said that she met Flynn just once, at the Cambridge event.
Lokhova’s husband has told the Daily Caller News Foundation that he picked Lokhova up after the Cambridge dinner and that she did not leave with Flynn. A DIA official who attended the Cambridge event with Flynn also told TheWSJ in March 2017 that Flynn did not engage in any improper behavior.
In the FBI memo, the Washington Field Office proposed closing a counterintelligence investigation of Flynn because investigators found no evidence that he was acting as an agent of Russia.
Peter Strzok, the deputy chief of counterintelligence, intervened at the last minute to keep the investigation open after the FBI obtained a transcript of Flynn’s phone calls in late December 2016 with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
Strzok helped set the “primary objectives” for the FBI meeting with Steele in October 2016, the IG report also stated.
The FBI source discussed in the Flynn memo has not been identified.
Steele was officially a CHS from 2013 until Nov. 1, 2016, when the FBI terminated the relationship because the ex-spy had unauthorized contact with the media regarding the dossier. Steele’s handling agent, Michael Gaeta, told the House Intelligence Committee that the FBI decided not to pay Steele for his help with Crossfire Hurricane because of his contacts with the media.
Stefan Halper is another FBI source who was a co-convener of the Cambridge event that Flynn attended.
The FBI tasked Halper to meet with and record Page, Papadopoulos and Sam Clovis. The IG report also said that Halper was previously acquainted with Flynn, but it did not make reference to Halper
At last some video attacking the swamp Republicans for choosing to enable or at least remain silent on this coup. These people were just some more never Trump swamp creatures that I wish we could get rid of. Unfortunately even these lowlifes are better than Democrats.
"A former Judge of Elections in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has been charged and pleaded guilty to illegally adding votes for Democrat candidates in judicial races in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
On Thursday, the Department of Justice (DOJ) announced charges against former Judge of Elections Domenick DeMuro, 73, for stuffing the ballot box for Democrats in exchange for payment by a paid political consultant.
The charges, and guilty plea, include conspiracy to deprive Philadelphia voters of their civil rights by fraudulently stuffing the ballot boxes for specific Democrat candidates in the 2014, 2015, and 2016 primary elections and a violation of the Travel Act.
“The Trump administration’s prosecution of election fraud stands in stark contrast to the total failure of the Obama Justice Department to enforce these laws,” Public Interest Legal Foundation President Christian Adams said in a statement. “Right now, other federal prosecutors are aware of cases of double voting in federal elections as well as noncitizen voting. Attorney General William Barr should prompt those other offices to do their duty and prosecute known election crimes.”
As Judge of Elections, DeMuro was paid to oversee the election process in the 39th Ward, which encompasses Philadelphia.
DeMuro’s guilty plea states that he was paid by a political consultant to illegally add votes for particular Democrat candidates in primary judicial races. The political consultant who allegedly paid DeMuro had been hired by those Democrat candidates.
According to the indictment, the political consultant allegedly solicited payments from Democrat candidates who hired him, classifying them as “consulting fees.” The payments — which ranged from $300 to $5,000 — were then allegedly used to pay Election Board Officials, such as DeMuro, in exchange for those officials illegally adding votes for the consultants’ Democrat candidates.
DeMuro admitted that he illegally added votes for Democrats on Election Day and then certified later that the votes counted were accurate.
“DeMuro fraudulently stuffed the ballot box by literally standing in a voting booth and voting over and over, as fast as he could, while he thought the coast was clear,” U.S. Attorney William McSwain said in a statement. “This is utterly reprehensible conduct. The charges announced today do not erase what he did, but they do ensure that he is held to account for those actions.”
"Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., said Wednesday that he intends to ask the State Department for more information about “strange” and “irregular” requests allegedly made by ousted U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch to monitor the communications of U.S. journalists in the country.
Nunes, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, said on Fox News' "Hannity" that he’s looking to ask Yovanovitch during her scheduled testimony Friday about her alleged efforts to monitor reporters.
Yovanovitch, who was appointed ambassador to Ukraine by former President Barack Obama in 2016, and recalled by the State Department in May of this year, is scheduled to give a deposition as part of the Democratic-led impeachment inquiry against President Trump. She remains a State Department employee, and it's unclear whether the administration will attempt to block her appearance.
"What I've heard — and I want to be clear — there's a difference. What I've heard is that there were strange requests, irregular requests to monitor not just one journalist, but multiple journalists,” Nunes told host Sean Hannity. “Now perhaps that was OK. Perhaps there was some reason for that — that it can be explained away. But that's what we know and that's what we're going to be looking into."
Hannity said multiple sources have told him they "believe there is evidence that government resources were used to monitor communications" of U.S. journalists and that Yovanovitch may have been involved. Nunes noted that if the State Department had conducted surveillance over press activity in the Ukraine, it may have been done properly.
"We also have concerns that possibly they were monitoring press from different journalists and others," Nunes continued. "That we don't know, but we have people who are giving us this information and we're going to ask these questions to the State Department and hopefully they're going to get the answers before she comes in on Friday."
John Solomon, who recently became a Fox News contributor, also said on “Hannity” Wednesday: "I think we need to dig in more. Ambassador Yovanovitch should be given an opportunity and Secretary of State Pompeo should tell us what happened."
Solomon is an investigative reporter who has made headlines for breaking stories related to the ongoing Ukraine controversy that have fueled Trump's support for Attorney General William Barr's review of the origins of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election."
Listen to this podcast if you are unclear on just what the Obama Administration did to Flynn. They destroyed a Patriot to cover up their attempted take-down of a duly elected President. They are usurpers here. Educate yourself.
An outstanding article by @leesmithdc on how President Obama's issues with saving his disastrous Iran Deal connect to RussiaGate.
How Russiagate Began With Obama’s Iran Deal Domestic Spying Campaign Michael Flynn posed a threat to the former president’s legacy and was made to pay for it
Barack Obama warned his successor against hiring Michael Flynn. It was Nov. 10, 2016, just two days after Donald Trump upset Hillary Clinton to become the 45th president of the United States. Trump told aide Hope Hicks that he was bewildered by the president’s warning. Of all the important things Obama could have discussed with him, the outgoing commander in chief wanted to talk about Michael Flynn.
The question of why Obama was so focused on Flynn is especially revealing now. The Department of Justice recently filed to withdraw charges against the retired three-star general for making false statements to the FBI in a Jan. 24, 2017, interview regarding a phone call with a Russian diplomat. The circumstances surrounding the call and subsequent FBI interview have given rise to a vast conspiracy theory that was weaponized to imprison a decorated war hero and a strategic thinker whose battlefield innovations saved countless American lives. There is no evidence that Flynn “colluded” with Russia, and the evidence that Flynn did not make false statements to the FBI has been buried by the bureau, including current Director Christopher Wray.
So if the Obama administration wasn’t alarmed by Flynn’s nonexistent ties to Russia, why was he Obama’s No. 1 target? Why were officials from the previous administration intercepting his phone calls with the Russian ambassador?
The answer is that Obama saw Flynn as a signal threat to his legacy, which was rooted in his July 2015 nuclear agreement with Iran—the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). Flynn had said long before he signed on with the Trump campaign that it was a catastrophe to realign American interests with those of a terror state. And now that the candidate he’d advised was the new president-elect, Flynn was in a position to help undo the deal. To stop Flynn, the outgoing White House ran the same offense it used to sell the Iran deal—they smeared Flynn through the press as an agent of a foreign power, spied on him, and leaked classified intercepts of his conversations to reliable echo chamber allies.
"Soros-Influenced Atlantic Council Begs Ukraine Not To Investigate Biden Tapes"
"Seven former U.S. ambassadors to Ukraine, including two who testified against Trump during the impeachment sham, have penned a letter to the Ukrainian government, essentially begging them not to investigate the Biden tapes CDMedia broke earlier this month. Disgraced Ambassador Yovanovich who was fired by President Trump for corruption, and impeachment witness William Taylor signed the statement.
The statement says nothing about the Ukrainian government’s active and verified role for the Clinton campaign against Candidate Trump during the 2016 presidential election.
Seven former US ambassadors to Ukraine said that the publication of films allegedly recorded by Petro Poroshenko and Joseph Biden aims to separate our countries, writes Ukrainian media.
The Ukrainian government opened an investigation into the Biden/Poroshenko tapes last week.
Below is an excerpt from the Atlantic Council statement.
We have worked over the years to build and strengthen the US-Ukrainian strategic partnership established in 1996. We thus are disheartened by efforts to inject Ukraine into America’s domestic politics as the 2020 US presidential election approaches. Those efforts advance a false and toxic narrative, one with no basis in the reality of US-Ukraine relations, in order to weaken the relationship between the United States and Ukraine and sow division within our two countries. That serves neither country’s interests. We strongly condemn these efforts to divide our two countries and call on officials in both to avoid steps that will only erode the bilateral relationship and alienate our countries from one another.
"The New York Times has not reported on the news that Planned Parenthood improperly claimed $80 million in coronavirus relief loans from the federal government.
The Trump administration, under the Small Business Administration, asked Planned Parenthood affiliates to return loans meant for small businesses. The federal agency discovered that the affiliates were ineligible for loans under the Paycheck Protection Program’s rules, which were intended to limit the distribution of funds.
In technical terms, small business and nonprofit organizations that had fewer than 500 employees could apply and receive forgivable loans.
Planned Parenthood argued that its affiliates had fewer than 500 employees and qualified for the loans. The Small Business Administration disputed the national organization’s defense and demanded that its affiliates return the loans to the federal agency.
But the New York Times did not publish a single story on the controversy.
The mainstream media outlets that reported on the news, in addition to NPR, were Fox News, the Washington Post and USA Today.
CBS News, CNN, Politico, and the Wall Street Journal did not cover the story."
I really hope Trump reinstates Flynn somewhere in his administration. Even if Flynn is "finally" released from this injustice by this corrupt Judge, Trump (if he loses the election) should pardon Flynn on his way out. These scumbags who have became the leaders of the corrupt Democrat Party will go after Flynn again on false charges. Flynn knows where the skeletons in the Democrat's closet are.
