My Intuition. Heaven knows, could be way off. I think Apple is trying to cash in on its name. So, here goes ---
Apple card 9/10 People trust Apple, and not having a number on the card is great.
Apple Music 10/10 About time. The purchase of Beats really paid off.
Apple Arcade 6/10 Bit risky, competition. Apple’s interest in VR may pay off
Apple TV+ 2/10 Don’t buy it. Way too late.
iPhone 11 10/10 Brilliant name, great price ! Alas, Apple loses margins, maybe they have no choice.
Watch 5 6/10 Continuous improvement. Batery life is a big issue. Love my FitBit.
Packaging 5/10 May be a neccesity. Hurts margins, current margins maybe no longer sustainable.
Subscriptions 7/10 Good move. Initially perhaps too cheap. Even cheap, most people do not like giving out their credit card info.

Apologies for my clumsiness in posting this morning. Just trying to do too much in too short a time.

I love my iPhone SE... but that Midnight Green... and those cameras... ummm
Watch has a new sales trajectory with me onboard too. Apple Pay is the kick ass cherry-on-top of the always-on-screen sundae. I gave up waiting for gray AirPods so got them via Colorware, amazing finishes and colours.
Oh yeah, I just bought another iPad. Gave my last one to a kid in school. Still looks like new !
A happy investor today!

Already above $219, can we crack $220 today? Bingo!
i closed a portion of my swing trade (aapl calls) opened in january (near $150) - exercising selling discipline...
...i had a limit order that, if aapl were to hit $220 in early may, would have executed... but i think it only got to $215-$217 before some trump tweets and trade war escalation brought aapl to $173 (i placed an extra swing trade though)
...i should have updated it ahead of july earnings... b/c of reduced time value in the calls, aapl would have needed ~$224 to execute... it climbed above $220 but then some more trump tweets promptly brought it to $193 ...i updated the limit order ahead of the event yesterday to hit just over $220, and it did this morning... less than originally planned but i also kept half on the table still very much long... core position long, and half of jan swing position remains (holding out for just under ath, may keep a quarter further beyond ath) hoping we don't get tweets a 3rd time to get back below $200, but at least i have some cash now if we do cheers to the longs!

hoping we don't get tweets a 3rd time to get back below $200, but at least i have some cash now if we do Congrats WW We all know there will be more tweets from T. Today it's to lower the interest rate, even to below 0. Other countries have done that, and if the US is a better investment choice in general, then it makes sense that the rate shouldn't be higher. OTOH, there's that whole overheating and frothiness that I'd prefer not to see happen....unless I time it right. I have a few shares I purchased at $185 that were a shorter term thing, though maybe it's been 10 or 11 months now. They're fungible, so for taxes it wouldn't be them unless we pass the 12 month mark, but the P/E 18-21 range is the time to sell a little if you're going to, since we haven't seen that too often the last few years.

A little ‘irrational exuberance’ for AAPL All of those 2’s stacked beside each other. $222.22 I saw.

Congrats Longs - the keynote was exactly what Apple needed to convince WS of the new narrative - services, broad product line, the whole ecosystem. Taking $50 off the 11 might hurt margins slightly but really needed to happen for affordability. I'm trying to temper it - This was basically where we were after earnings in August and, like then - a tweet or two from POTUS can take the whole thing down again. But, this action today is why I never trade short term based on 'historical' patterns - this is definitely NOT sell the news, so a great example of simply staying invested is usually, almost always the best strategy.

I trimmed a bit during the event yesterday ("sell the news" expectation) but upon realizing how strong the announcements were, I raised my limit orders and the rest didn't fill, which is nice Anyone who is blah about yesterday really needs to invest in another stock, as there were solid announcements across the board, and the always-on Watch came out of nowhere (a key feature missing since Watch 1). I see that delivery times for Watches are already being pushed out. Based on yesterday's news, we will have an October event, so there's more room for surprises if some, like Gene Munster, didn't see everything he was hoping to see. Congrats to AAPL longs!

Congrats Longs - the keynote was exactly what Apple needed to convince WS of the new narrative - services, broad product line, the whole ecosystem. I was very fearful going into the keynote, what with most of the industry and its followers focused on the coming 5G revolution, Apple not expected to join in until next year, and an in-between year for iPhones. If Tim Cook doubters/haters out there don't recognize how well he has managed this transition, then they will never get it. Yes, I do have one particular AFB participant in mind.

Congrats to the longs! I think the arcade and atv+ subscription will sell very well simply because it's too cheap, I will be dropping HBO and Starz, and getting just AppleTV+ and Disney+. The new iphone cameras and slofies will lead to more icloud storage upgrade. I was thinking of getting the new iPad 32GB, but now I change my mind and will be getting the 128GB version since doesn't cost much more, considering the $60 worth of free Apple TV+.

Yes and let’s not forget one of the reasons why we’re invested in this company. They know how to plan ahead, they know how to play the long game and they are genius at executing the plans. WS saw those trailers yesterday and they know Apple will only settle for top quality programming. So, we’re due for some PE expansion, 25 x would be fair imo.
