The option pin at $235 is in...watch AirAAPL land on runway $234.xx today.
And a bit of a surprise there’s no word of an October event from Apple. November anyone?

I have seen rumors of a November event for the launch of Apple TV+. That makes sense. A 16" MBP, tases, new iPad Pros, possibly new AppleTVs, and ? are imminent - just not this month.

Option pin below at $235 appears off, given the earlier dip this morning. AAPL is strong here.
I'm very confident of a October/November event.

Can we land at $238 and call it a day, TSMC positive outlook and no special warning memo from Tim Cook should justify it.

As Mercel mentioned, a bullish AAPL day when the broader markets were down and we had a call wall at 235, although there was a call wall at 237 that seems to have magically kicked in the last 10 minutes of trading.

Oh yes, tech companies love their H1B's. As someone who once had a girlfriend who was an H1B at Oracle, I can tell you this is both exploitation of the visa holders and a way to price out American workers. H1B's are sponsored by individual companies and the visa isn't transferable, so he/she is literally an indentured servant who can't complain or demand the wages a US worker would, or they're fired and immediately out of status and must leave the country. If found out of status, 10 year ban from legal US entry/residence. I joked with her she should just be an illegal, since they are perversely treated better than legal immigrants. Tech companies LOVE the power H1B gives them over workers vs those pesky Americans! Anyone who works in tech knows why SV is lobbying for more digital sharecroppers. Speaking of Oracle, Mark Hurd died at 62. Enjoy every day people!

It’s getting late for an October event, but if not October, November is a lock.

Yep 6% growth on a 13 trillion dollar economy and we are getting two percent on a 20 T $ economy, doesn’t take a math wiz, unfortunately we are slowing more than they are. Tariffs don’t work ! And by the way, where’s the four and five percent growth we were promised in 2016 ?

I'd like to say more, but many others including Ken Fisher have studied China's various economic movements, and the daily thread is not the place for this. Thank you for your restraint here, JD. To All: Please remember to keep non-Apple SPECIFIC political stuff out of the daily thread. Post it over in the Dungeon, if you really want to discuss it with others on the AAPL Finance Board.

This was very obviously something that could have inflamed you. Thanks for your thoughtfulness on this.
