Guess everyone is watching the hearings. I decided to take a short break, but it's being recorded. I actually had no idea there was a hearing going on today, let alone that it was being shown live. OTOH, it happened to be "Take your Dad (or special someone) to school" day at the middle school. Finding the slope, 4 ways. Observing and recording what was found in nature. And then US history, mainly about the branches and their terms, plus some amendment analysis. But tucked in there was that 2 presidents were impeached by one side (House vs Senate), but the other side voted it down or didn't ratify it or some such. Truthfully, while a lot of this is important, it's not something that everyone needs to be able to recall on an everyday basis. Just like the requirements to become a citizen. How many years must you live in the US, and support yourself or be supported by someone? Anyway, I'm much more excited to have AAPL knock out new highs. We're in that stage time period before black Friday where things could get knocked down, even due to small things like increased average debt and delinquencies. But we're also so close to Black Friday/Cyber Monday, which often during a good cycle gives an uptick result on spending, which then gets the market excited. Even last year I think there might have been a temporary bump, though the chart shows the S&P bottoming out 2 weeks later, about 2 weeks before AAPL hit it's low. In wanting to sell a few shares I was looking at going ahead and doing it, before any dip. But in general the next 10-16 months look positive for Apple, and AAPL should do well as long as the market and economy hold up. There's a lot on the wall of worry, but the Goldilocks path is working ok, threading the needle on the "just right" path. We're part of the country that's not having sub-freezing temps this week, but winter will be here soon enough. Time to try out some of these asphalt crack fillers my neighbor bought a pallet of.

I feel as if AAPL - FINALLY has its product mojo back - just back from a NY/LA airplane trip and the AirPods pro are excellent in noise cancellation for flying and traveling - and the truly PRO 16' MacBook announced today with 8 core i9, 64gb RAM and 8tb ssd is the pro portable I've been waiting for for composing for EVER - will finally stop need to roll my own hackintoshes portable laptop power,
and
wow - it looks like EVERY dip is being bought like crazy - major accumulation in AAPL going on - I'm guess many institutions for so long who have been underweight AAPL are still playing catchup. that was on hell of a fast sell-off and recovery in the China Trade talk snag headline -

so..... frickin wheee first (hat tip to longish)
artman, I know your fingers are bleeding but um like, we are all waiting..
So where's this run headed, have been contemplating 'trimming' for the first time ever. Only a small trim, just a tidy up. Demand is obviously stronger at the moment but at some point I imagine that there will have to be some profit taking. Sentiment is strong, but we all know how jittery the market can be with AAPL.

This time feels different.
It feels like AAPLs being valued differently. Prior large runs like this were iPhone (& iPod) based, but this time it’s not that. While iPhone performed well, it doesn’t justify what’s going on.
Either way, this is an amazing ride - I’m so grateful to this company for changing our lives in so many ways (technology & wealth).
(I hope sponge didn’t lose his shirt)
aaaand... frikkin weeee!
