Not the best intro, by demoing the superior strength of windows but then having them fail.
OTOH, production doesn't start for a while. Similar to what we sometimes see in politics leading up to an election, what if you have one or two "bad things", and then change them?
I'm not in marketing, though am sometimes amazed at what the likes of Guy Kawasaki could pull off. But I could see this switcharoo happening. OTOH, Elon has said it was more of a pet project, so I could see him just going for it and not caring. Maybe a rev-2 would change it, or maybe like most of the other Tesla cars he'd like to keep them looking different, also a marketing tactic.
We have the choice to build this board up, or tear it down. Make the right choice, or don't post here.
