As someone who started wearing hearing aids a year or so ago, at the insistence of my younger son and wife, I do a mock, "What?" every so often just to make things interesting. Seeing your comment this morning made me chuckle. I always admit to being an easy laugh but I guess, as it turns out, I'm also an easy chuckle.
My take on the John Maynard Keynes quote: "I can hold AAPL longer than the market can remain irrational...or Trump can remain president." --Luckychoices
"There is no point in being confident & having a small position." --George Soros
"While AAPL could keep climbing from here, I'd more expect a modest pullback, sometime". --4aapl
What? I spent almost 6 grand twice over the last ten years. Currently have these Oticon OPN MFI aids. I have what they call a very profound hearing loss. They work via BT with my phone and watch but do not connect via BT directly to other sources like car BT system and CarPlay. You still need a Audiogram from a licensed professional. I laugh at that though, many are not professional just middle men/women in the sense they just push the aids out the door for profit. It’s a racket, charging 5 to 6000 plus for a device that cost prolly less than $1000 to manufacture. I don’t think there is a market unless Apple can use proprietary patented technology and software that the OEM’s like Oticon, Starky or Phonak have not already have a monopoly on. For mild loss I can see a small market if the UI just works, but for severe and profound hearing loss there is just too many obstacles to the fitting and programming of the hearing devices. Just visit forum.hearingtracker.com. To see people with device problems and questions.
mercel: It's been a long strange trip - good to see you're still around (and in AAPL -my assumption).
