Looks like my June call spread sale executed today. I now own no calls, and no call spreads, on AAPL for the first time in probably 10 years! Wow, I just looked back at my trading spreadsheet and it's MORE than 10 years, seems like it dates back to sometime in 2008. That was when options still had the old style symbols, I see an "APVJH" for example which was a October 140 call, that's a $20 call in today's pricing! Amazing.
I am still short various puts over the next few months/years but they will almost surely all expire worthless.
It’s clear that their competitors will all be racing to make the earliest possible release. Can Apple not release some flavor of a 5G phone in September? Will the iPhone Pro be delayed for mmWave? Will the phone companies give Apple (and others) insight into their deployment plans? This will be an interesting story to follow through the year.
mercel: It's been a long strange trip - good to see you're still around (and in AAPL -my assumption).
