Good morning. Pre-market is deep red this morning. Buckle your seatbelts, this may be a rough ride today. Murphy’s Law. Nothing more to say.

This is upsetting. Revisionist history? Maybe an attempt to blot out Steve Jobs from Apple history? Even corporations need to know from where they came.

video takedown: probably just done to enforce the ability to still retain copyright on them. If it's not defended, it can be more easily lost. Also, the quality on many of them was atrocious. If Apple could supply or make available somewhere a high-quality version, that would be ideal. Sadly they probably won't. The vids may have been captured by archive.org if we are lucky. Chances are they will show up elsewhere soon anyway (if not already).

Over the last week I have sold all my personally managed stocks, including AAPL, TSLA, AMZN, and MSFT. The run up has been so fast that I decided to preserve retirement funds, since there is more than a negligible chance that this could be a big turning point in the market, caused by disease or politics. TSLA was my favorite climb, since I have long been an observer of Elon Musk. He may be even more revolutionary than Saint Jobs in his dents in the universe. I will get back in when the world changes a bit, which could be next month or next year. As of now, the American economy appears to have projected slower growth than we have had in many years.

whoa.... ballsy move! i've felt similarly and have been hedging aapl like crazy since 300....
...first, congrats on your gains! everything you listed except amzn has been at ATHs, and TSLA a monster
...second, do you mean you sold individual stocks but still have index funds, or that you're out of equities in general?

I don't use index funds. I just have individual stocks and I've done well enough that my first priority is to preserve capital. For now I am mostly in cash. And if I'm wrong–which I usually am–I'll still be okay and ready for the next round.

Well, today corrected that sky high RSI. It's now at 58.63 and now there is a huge gap created this morning which may get filled by Wednesday. Hopefully.

I must say, I prefer the days where AAPL goes up 9 points to those when it goes down 9 points. OTOH, I skinned up the mountain this morning, for the first time this season. It's good to get out there and enjoy it, especially with temps of 58 expected later this week. And then our middle aged friend who has been working on it for 2 years passed her driver's test today. It's been a long process with ups and downs, but I feel more comfortable with her on the road than many of the teenagers I see. If Apple has good earnings and outlook, this pullback will be a good thing, as far as taking out the weak hands or even just people ready to sell a little, and likely help make the response to good news even better. There's some hope in there, but the odds are looking pretty good.
