Good morning. This may be the day we see a new ATH for AAPL. The pre-market is up by $5.61 at this moment. Who would have guessed? Premarket: Apple is green

Apple likes to solve problems, or fill areas you never realized need filling. It's have to see in the current, as it's hard to see those holes until Apple starts to fill them. And often it's not 100% unique, instead making something much better, ready for the non-upper technical masses. Driving up and down I-5, from the Bay Area to LA, there's streams of cars going both ways. Everyone needs to get to where they are not. That corridor is different, in that you basically have a 4 hour section where people are only going North or South, with nearly no one branching off. A high speed train line is to go in, but that's like any mass transit, with the problem of getting to the terminal, and from it. The LA area and Bay Area are pretty big. I've wondered for more than a decade now is a trick could be a train ferry, loading up cars, and bringing them over this middle land efficiently. On cars, especially in cities, you quickly have the problem of overbuying, buying for that one or two times a year where you need more. What if there was a car where you could unhook the last 5 feet of it, making it more gas efficient, but also more compact for parking. Like a T-top or hard top convertible, these would be parts you took off and had to store. Would it be worth it? Or if it the rental car marketing plan, "here when you need something different", that on the broader spectrum might get them in trouble with the automakers that supply them with good costs. FWIW, Hertz (which is hurting) is said to already have good used prices, and expected to have even better ones as their bankruptcy progresses. Too bad their site doesn't seem to let me search for the truck bed length I want. Neither of these seem like the perfect fit for Apple, but I think there are niches that can be filled, or at least examined. I'm sure Apple has looked into this a bit. One option is creating something that they license, potentially to multiple automakers. Nice to see AAPL up, even if they are lagging the market today. I expect another pullback for the market as a whole as things get overheated, but as time progresses and things look manageable, it seems more likely that pullbacks will only be pullbacks, and not drops. We had out first beach day yesterday, at the town's private beach, on a near-perfect day. Groups planted 10+ feet apart. Lots out on paddle boards and such, since motor boats just started being allowed for the season, and not many were around. A friend was celebrating her birthday, brought tons of food, and I had durian for the first time (tasted slightly milder than a raw Walla Walla sweet onion). Our 2 hours plans turned into a great 10 hour day, with half that time out on kayaks and paddle boards. And with that, AAPL is now 50 cents in the red. Sometimes cloudy skies roll in.

Sorry everybody! AAPL was red because I was looking the Acura NSX this morning. AAPL is now green after clearing the Safari cache and history.
